While only 8 miles west of Downtown Evergreen and 50 minutes to Downtown Denver, or 45 minutes from Red Rocks Park you will be secluded in the Wilderness on a dead end road. You will awake to spectacular sunrises, stunning mountain views and the Serenity of the Rocky Mountain Wilderness. Evergreen's Wilderness Cottage is fully furnished, with equipped kitchen, fine linens and towels, a real rock Fireplace with plenty of firewood, outdoor patio and grill and a library of CDS, DVDS and a new flat screen TV. Hike or Mountain Bike our World Class Trail System. Ride at Echo Mtn Snow Board park and take in the fabulous artist community in Evergreen. But Come home to the Wilderness Cottage.   • $100 Cleaning & Security Deposit 100% refundable when guest leaves residence how they found it.
  • Pets-Dogs OK-No Cats-. One time $35 fee for each dog. Security and Cleaning Deposit is $200 with Pet and is 100% refundable when the guest leaves the residence the way they found it except for washing of bedding sheets and towels. Pets must not be left alone in residence with out being kenneled. Rental Kennels available at a one time fee for the stay of $35. Please call to discuss pet particulars.
  • Rates are based on a 2 night minimum and start at $135 per night for 1-2 Guests. 3-5 Guests are $165 per night. A two person Guest List That Requires two separate beds add a one time fee of $35 per stay.

The Wilderness Cottage is a wonderful place to stay.
The views are outstanding and the owner is very
helpful and nice. The location is great as well. I would
suggest it to anyone interested in going to see
Colorado.

We just had a wonderful stay in the Wilderness Cottage for 4 nights. The directions were perfect that Michael provided. We enjoyed meeting him and hearing about the town. Evergreen was a wonderful town with so many friendly people and lots of things to do. The cabin was very clean and well stocked kitchen ammenities, fire wood, games, books, TV etc. We would love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay in the beautiful Rocky Mountains!

Our time in the Wilderness Cottage was exceptional,
as expected from Michael Carter. The cottage was
clean, beautiful and well stocked. The view and the
deck are outrageous and the cabin is great for a
couple or a whole group of people! We will
absoloutely return.

Tim and I had the best time of our lives in Evergreen! The wilderness cottage was just great! The pictures just do not do justice to how beautiful the cottage and surrounding area are! I will definitly be back next year!! Michael was a great host and even showed us his other beautiful cabins!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Matt and I had a wonderful 3 night stay in the Wilderness Cottage. We loved the little town of Evergreen. Michael was very pleasant, and gave us lots of great ideas for things to do. We absolutely loved the ride up Mt. Evans. We will definitly be back again. Thanks.
