This cozy cottage in East Orleans offers a quiet spot for a restful vacation. Located at 20 Orie Lane in the Barley Neck area of East Orleans, this immaculate two bedroom summer home features a separate bunk house and easy access to all that Orleans has to offer. A National Seashore treasure, Nauset Beach is just minutes away, while the warmer and calmer water of Skaket Beach (great for small kids) is just on the other side of town on beautiful Cape Cod Bay. Great for launching kayaks, both Pochet Inlet and the Public Boat ramp at Meetinghouse Pond (.5 miles) are easily accessible. Enjoy bike riding on the Cape Cod rail trail, exploring Nickerson State Park in neighboring Brewster, or take in an Orleans Cardinals Cape League baseball game at Eldredge Park. Other activities include deep sea fishing trips from Rock Harbor, whale watching excursions out of Provincetown, or try a seal watching trip in Chatham. Or just relax in the yard after a day at the beach!

Home away from home!

We spent the last full week of August here and absolutely loved it! It's a great place for families of all ages. My 2 oldest children(teenagers) were thrilled with the bunk house. My 2 younger children also loved the place. We were very happy with the fact that it had 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer. With 4 children it came in very handy. We were able to go to the store and stock up on food for the whole week. We used the grill and sat at the picnic table most nights. We did eat out 2 nights and found everything very close and convenient. Nauset Beach was only 5 minutes away! The kids loved this. We were able to use our boogie boards and rode the awesome waves. We did make the 10 minute drive to the bay side a few times. Beautiful sunsets from the bay side. The whole family enjoyed the stay and we can't wait to come back again in the near future. This was defintely the best place we have stayed at each time we've come to the Cape.

The house was great: newer appliances, well maintained, clean, and comfortable! The open floor plan made great use of the space and skylights made it especially cherry and bright. The furniture-including the beds- was comfortable, and our two teenage sons enjoyed staying in the "bunk house". All the necessities were provided.Information about local places was provided. Great gas grill-got great use of the hammock, porch and patio. Plus the hydrangeas were in full bloom-beautiful! Great quiet location, but close enough to local shops. The owners were wonderful. Very informative and personable. Would definitely recommend to family and friends-as long as they don't want the same week as we will! Local places we enjoyed-besides Nauset Beach- we walked to Fancy's Farm Market for coffee and freshly baked muffins-scones (delicious!), Cooke's Seafood, Ice Cream Cafe (YUM), Moby Dick's in Welfleet-excellent!. You can't go wrong with this rental!

This house was perfect for our family of 4. Having 2 bathrooms and a washer & dryer was ideal. Charming interior and beautiful landscaping. Didn't need to use the bunk-house but would have been great for visitors.Will definately be back next summer.
