This Carolina Cottage is nestled in the gated resort community of Hidden Dunes w/ private beach access, 3 pools, jacuzzis, 6 clay tennis courts w/on-site pro, lit basketball court, 2 horseshoe courts, and a small children's playground. Walking paths wind thru the lush natural grounds w/fountain waterways. Located a 1/2 mile from the Silver Sands Outlet Mall and minutes from Baytowne Village shops and the Sandestin Mall. The kitchen is fully furnished & linens are provided. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, dual shower, and a walk-in closest. The second bedroom has a queen bed and plenty of closest/dresser space as well. Cable HD TV/DVD in the great room and both bedrooms with free WiFi throughout the resort. The screened-in lanai provides outdoor living space w/ an eating bar, table, and 4 chairs. The big pool is just steps from the cottage and private beach is a short walk or jump on the free tram (season). Washer/Dryer in the condo. Private, yet close to everything!

Super realxing, Great owner

Although our visit was cut short by Hurricane Issac, the time we did get to enjoy the cottage, beach, pools and beautiful gardens was so realaxing. Also, the owner was very helpful in watching the weather as the hurricane was approaching. Wish we could have stayed, as it totally missed Destin. Thanks, again, Doug and Karen for your concern and understanding.

We had an amazing family vacation. As soon as you walk in the door you immediately feel comfortable and your shoulders relax. From the golf cart tram, to the immaculately kept lush grounds full of tons of foilage to explore through , to the fantastic pool and gorgeous beach....We loved vacationing in this community and in this cottage!

We had a great vacation at the Hidden Dunes. Cottage 222 is extremely roomy, clean, and well maintained. The pool was very nice, and also clean, well maintained, and never crowded, even though we were there during a 'peak' season. The shuttle to the beach was handy, though we only used it once or twice, as we enjoyed the short walk through the grounds to get to the beach.
The resort is close to shopping, great restaurants, and all the sights in the Destin area, yet is very safe, secluded and quiet. The listing and photos of the property were exactly as stated. The owner was great to work with, answering all my questions and requests promptly. Thanks for all the help.
We will definitely consider this property on our future trips to the Emerald Coast.

relaxing place to stay

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything one would need to be comfortable. All you need to bring is your swimsuit and sunscreen. The owner was great to work with and reservation process and check-in very easy. Loved the 2 big pools. We did not use the one by the villas. I would recommend this cottage. It is very quiet at night. Great place to walk. Beach within a short walking distance. Listed photos are exactly as described in owners description. Hope to visit next year

Excellent resort to relax, enjoy the beach and play some tennis. Close to shopping and a lot of eating options. Very family friendly. Beach is clean and water is beautiful!
