Townhome, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10-16)

Beautiful 1870 square foot town home. Three bedrooms, three baths, a private hot tub and a steam room in the master suite make this luxury town home irresistible. A separate sleeping loft can accommodate six more people. Hardwood floors upstairs and luxurious carpet downstairs boast in floor heat to make your stay warm and comfortable.

The kitchen is gorgeous with solid granite countertops and travertine tiled floors. Plenty of cabinet space and top notch appliances will let you “cook in” in style. Peeled pine log and aspen ceilings add to the charm of this luxurious town home, and the view of Mt. Crested Butte is stunning.

This home has a two car heated garage, a private hot tub and is luxuriously furnished. The bus runs every thirty minutes and stops at the end of the driveway. You can ride down to the ski area in minutes and from there, if you choose, take the town bus down to the Town of Crested Butte, where you can enjoy many activities, browse the shops and dine at the many fine restaurants in town.

The hot tub sets on the back deck and looks out over the town of Mt. Crested Butte and the town of Crested Butte below. Crested Butte Mountain and Whetstone Mountain form the backdrop while you relax in the hot tub and recount the days events. When you’re done, retire for the evening in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy all Mt. Crested Butte has to offer.

About The Owner

I am a consultant that travels 100% of the time and when I get away from my busy life, I need to simply unplug. We take every opportunity we can to go to Crested Butte, no matter what time of year! I love the outdoors, am an avid skiier as well as biking, rafting, rock climbing and hiking. This is my idea of what a slice of heaven is like.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2007
Why The Owner chose Crested Butte

Crested Butte is one of the last mountain retreats that is not commercialized. It is insulated from the weekend Denver traffic and remains largely untouched. The town has an amazing history and reveres its historic value so much that the town has ordinances in place to keep commercialized franchises out. My daughter loves the fact that Crested Butte doesn't have a single stop light! It is great venue for family gatherings or to meet up with groups of friends. Our house is in a great location on Mt. Crested Butte, a five minute walk from bustling Mountaineer Square. If you prefer, catch the shuttle bus that picks you up at the end of the our driveway. The views are spectactular and the house is stocked with the necessary creature comforts that help make your getaway memorable.

What makes this townhome unique

The kids love the hot tub anytime of day, any season. We enjoy grilling out, preparing fantastic breakfasts in the gourmet kitchen, and watching movies and playing games by the fireplace in the great room.

During our winter visits, on of my favorite things to do is enjoy the steam shower after a day of skiing.

The house is beautifully laid out and the location is perfect. You can hike the mountains from the house, or take a short 4 mile drive to Gothic to get on BLM trails for serious hikes. The rivers can be reached within a five minute drive.

The crown jewel is the ski resort, which is open in the winter for skiing and in the summer for hiking or mountain biking. That is a short walk or shuttle ride away. There are a couple of spas at the resort as well as shopping and eating venues.

Beautiful Crested Butte itself is three miles from the house. We have biked that distance before and would like to share with you that the trip down to town is exhilarating and fun on a bike. The return is uphill so if you are not up for that, you can hop on the shuttle bus and your bike can ride on the bus bike rack.

We love the town of Crested Butte, not a set of golden arches in sight! Local restaurants make the most of locally available food and we have been enchanted with some of the other shopping options in town. The architecture of the old mining town houses is quaint and well preserved.

This was an outstanding townhome with beautiful views of the mountain. We have not been back to the Butte in about 7 years, and now we are reminded whyr it is our favorite ski town and mountain. We had a group of 9 adults and 1 teenager and had more than enough room for relaxing and sleeping. The large kitchen was totally awesome as we had a great cook with us. After skiing, the hot tub was put to good use. The shuttle bus picked us up at the end of the driveway which was very convenient since everbody seemed to have their own schedule. The home was clean and well maintained and the descriptions and pictures were accurate. We would highly recommend this home, especially to a larger group. We only ate down in town once at our favorite place, the Last Steep. With the awesome kitchen, it was just too easy to cook.

Could not have been better.

I spent 6 weeks here and everything about the house was as advertised or better. The owner Sue was supper accomodating and very responsive to all my questions. She bumped up the internet speed for me and added HBO. The location of the house is great overlooking the ski base. You could walk 10 miniutes down the quiet street for coffee or dinner.

There is also an onsite manager who was just a phone call away if I needed anything. The house is really equiped well for cooking and entertaining. My only wish was that the TV in the Great Room was HDTV. But, considering how little time you spend watching TV compared to the endless options for being outside in CB, this was minor. This is a class act all the way. Enjoy,,,,

We loved our stay at this town home. It was more than a rental and truly our home-away-from-home. It had every amenity we could imagine, was safe, immaculate, and beautiful. The rental was incredibly spacious, with a large master bathroom, huge living area, and a magnificent kitchen (fully stocked with every cookware imaginable and some basic foods!). We all admired the majestic mountaintop views from the huge open windows surrounding us. What's more is that the complimentary shuttle bus stops at the end of the driveway and takes you directly into town or to go ski. This rental was perfectly situated and wonderfully equipped. LOVED IT!
