House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

The Yachats Guest House house is a light, spacious single story home on a large fenced lot. One lot back from oceanfront, there wonderful views of the ocean and beach access is just 50 feet away. Our beach is a flat sandy beach; perfect for kite-flying, building sandcastles, long walks or morning runs up to 7 miles long. The house has views of the ocean from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and master bedroom.

The house is comfortable with many personal touches and artwork, music, dvd's and videos. The Yachats Guest House is a great place for the whole family,,,a 'home away from home'. There is a large outdoor fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows and gathering around to visit and tell stories.

The master and second bedrooms are equipped with queen sized beds and electric blankets. A private bath with shower is off the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a private courtyard view. The “bunk room” has one set of built-in bunks and the living room has 2 new queen sofa sleepers. We also have two extra single bed sleeping pads.

Living Room/Dining Room/Kitchen areas are open in one 'Great Room' which has two dining tables (one for jigsaw puzzles maybe?) and large wood fireplace...and lots of firewood to keep the fires crackling!

WONDERFUL HOME WITH GREAT OCEAN VIEW AND FENCED YARD

This was our 2nd time staying in this home, Our stay was fabulous and we are looking forward to coming back with our canine family next year. Very well stocked kitchen with every spice you would ever need and just about every appliance ever created. Very comfortable, single level home . The only improvement that might be needed is the replacement of the mattresses in the sofa beds which weren't comfortable at all. Looking forward to visiting next year! Thanks for everything Connie!

Great coast location, beautiful ocean view, quiet street, fenced yard

We rented this wonderful home for 2 weeks (8/29/12 through 9/11/12). It was the perfect location for us because we love to hike with our dog. There are a multitude of hiking trails in the area. The home has a comfortable ambience, plenty of room, a nice floor plan, and is well equipped, including plenty of linens and towels, etc. Everything you need to be able to enjoy your stay. The fully-fenced yard was a real asset to us because of our dog. We have already contacted the owner, who is very accommodating, and have made plans to stay again in August of 2013. We would definitely recommend this home to our family and friends.

We had a great time. The house was very comfortable, so many clever and artistic touches, in four days I am sure we didn't see them all. The beach was close, not crowded, and you could walk for miles. Our dog loved it. Everything you could possibly need to make your stay fun was there. Even the yard and flower gardens had a definite artistic flair. Plenty of firewood for the fireplace to take the chill off the one foggy morning we had there. We would love to go back.

I have yet to find a comfortable sofa sleeper so I understand the concern. I will keep looking and will add alternative sleeping options for large groups.

This was a lovely home for our family. The location was fantastic, at the end of a dead end street. Quiet and peaceful. Large living room and dining room and plenty of wood to build a fire in the fireplace on chilly evenings. The beach was amazing. The only downside was that the mattresses on the sleeper sofas in the living room need to be replaced.
