This luxury re-modeled(top of the line)duplex is discribed as a 5***** by those who have been there. It is fully equipped with everything you will need for a wonderful vacation that will have you comming back year after year too. It is located 130 steps(approx. 2 minute walk to the beach access or 100 steps (or approx. 1 and a half minute walk) to the main part of town in the famous Moonlight Beach area where you will find restaurants, shopping, and more. Short walk to train station and drive to numerous attractions in the southern California area. Please request any extras that would make your vacation as special as possible at no extra charge and we will try to accommodate you, although you will find on premises just about all you will need, encluding bicycles, boogie boards, some wet suits, beach chairs, coolers, toys, games and much more.

This property has been recently remodeled: This property has been recently remodeled with many upgrades.

Walk to downtown: The award winning historic Downtown Encinitas offers boutiques, fine galleries, antiques and all manner of of shops that offer goods and treasures. You will also find, incredible breakfast and lunch houses, burgers, ice cream and bakeries. In the evening for fine dining, coffee houses, the La Palma Theater, 101 Artists Colony and possibly your favorite watering hole.

Walk to the beach: Famous Moonlight Beach is the place to have even more fun. Play volleyball, swim, surf, boogie board, light a fire pit or just watch it all and get a suntan. There are many special events such as Sunday beach live bands, Woody Car Show, once a month summer Antique Car Show where people come from all over including neighboring states.

Golf: There are a number of great golf courses near by encluding the world famous Torrey Pines Golf Course (home of the U.S. OPEN) and La Costa Golf Resort and Spa (previously the home of the PGA TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS & PGA MATCK PLAY TOURNAMENT) both about a 10 to 15 minute drive.

Other Activities: Your in San Diego where there is just about every activity except snow skiing.

My wife and I had just the kind of relaxing week we were looking for here. The townhouse was recently remodeled and everything was just like new. And we walked to most the places we wanted to go. Half a block to the beach, a few blocks to a number of really good restaurants. Great dinner at Bigilucci's. The best breakfasts ever for the price at Honey's. All in all this place deserves 5 stars.

Excellent vacation property..we had 7 people, various ages. Access to the clean beach was great..2 blocks away, but down the stairs. Restaurants close by also, as is freeway access. And it was only about a 20 minute drive to get to San Diego Harbor/PETCO field area. This house has EVERYTHING, including a brand new washer/dryer..it was unbelievable how much we used them! Very nice! Kitchen was small, but very functional; the only thing I would recommend here is more dishes/cooking utensils. Other than that it was great! Bedrooms were roomy, and 2 bathrooms were newly remodeled with plenty of towels.
So much nicer than staying in a hotel and more relaxing. We look forward to staying here again next summer!
