Kennebunkport Vacation Rental house

Just ended my week at the Munson Cottage and wanted to share my expereince. This vacation was a combination of my 50th Birthday and a family reunion and I couldn't have found and chosen a better location. I wanted to give my family a Maine experience and the Munson Cottage delivered just that. If you are looking for everything new and shiny, this might not be the place for you. But if you are looking for a comfortable kick off your shoes relaxing place to to rest your weary head this is it. The true character of the cottage is over whelming. Down to it's wide board pine floors and the wonderful pull rope windows and the most wonderful screened-in porch. The cottage is really quite large even with 12 people roaming around. Having the 3 baths was a real plus.Plenty of towels and linens. This cottage is well maintained and cared for. Working with the Munsons was an added pleasure. They were very informative and extremely helpful. Thank you Susan and Chris for sharing your lovely family cottage. I can't say enough about Kennebunkport and the surrounding communities. Beautiful! Also would recommend the Kennebunk beaches ( get the week parking pass) or find your way down to Drakes Island beach in Wells.PS the back yard is a great place for a real Maine Lobster bake!
