Photos and Description of the Lincoln City vacation house rental 5BR/3BA Sleeps 16

Architect designed executive beach house with all amenities. Nantucket style shingled beach house with separate guest cottage. Only 50 feet to the water, down a gently sloped beach access. All west facing rooms, upstairs and downstairs, have fantastic beach and ocean views. Miles of beach for walking extend both north and south of house. Walking distance to Chinook Winds Casino, restaurants and conference center. Creek flows through property and there are two artist designed and built bridges over the creek. Many coast contorted pines on the property. Gourmet kitchen is professionally equipped with every imaginable kitchen accoutrement and has generously stocked pantry. Appliances include a Starbucks espresso machine, coffee maker, cuisinart, blender, industrial strength mixer, and Henckel cutlery. Viking professional grade gas stove with two ovens, grill. SubZero side by side refrigerator/freezer with ice dispenser. Five gallon filtered spring water dispenser.

Ocean view office upstairs has fax machine, printer, desk, office accouterments, and telescope and is a perfect place for work away from home. Black granite countertops throughout the house, even in the utility room. Clear fir floors throughout house as well as clear fir doors and woodwork. Gas fireplace in library and enamelled cast iron stove in moonlite bedroom. Extensive library with overstuffed chairs and view into secluded back yard. Expansive protected deck with teak deck furniture and fenced yard, great for entertaining or solitude. Or play croquet or volleyball. Outdoor heated shower on deck. Large jetted hot tub on deck, private and secluded. Large stainless steel gas BBQ on deck.

Best Sleep of My Life

I stayed at this beach house...Watavue. It was during the summer and I slept in the upstairs front bedroom that overlooks the ocean and beach. I slept with the window open and the sound and fragrance of the sea put me to sleep and I had the best sleep in a very long time. Part of the bliss was probably the bed. It was was very comfortable and the bed linens were very fine quality. I'm not used to sleeping in such luxury. Oh it was bliss!
