Just what the doctor ordered, this serene mountain cabin was made just for you.

Watch the sun go down between the mountains from the swing or rockers on the front porch. Wonderful views and a gentle running creek on the property with it's own creek-side picnic area, swing, bridge and campfire-ring. This custom cedar cabin is located on 3 1/2 acres of gentle rolling hills, surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Lots of wood inside and out. The cabin is tastefully decorated in a country-mountain theme. The perfect get-a-way for a couple or the whole family.

The cabin will easily accomodate 6 persons. Located just 13 miles north of Helen, Georgia. Helen is a quaint re-make of a Bavarian town complete with cobblestone alleys, horse-drawn carriages, specialty shops, and restaurants. Hiawassee houses the enormous Lake Chatuge, a tranquil 13-mile lake wrapped up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is perfect for the amateur or professional picture taker, not to mention, the adventurous water sportsman.

It is our little piece of heaven in Hiawassee, and we would love to share it with you.

MY HUSBAND AND I LIVE HERE IN THE BEAUTIFUL TOWN OF HIAWASSEE, GA. I STILL WORK AND MY HUSBAND IS RETIRED. HE IS THE FULL TIME CARETAKER OF THE PROPERTY. AFTER BEING RAISED IN A LARGE METROPOLITAN AREA OF FL. I CAN'T SAY I MISS THE CITY TRAFFIC AND EVERYDAY KAOS. I THANK GOD EVERYDAY FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE IN SUCH A TRANQUIL AND BEAUTIFUL AREA.

We stayed a full week in the cabin, which is actually a full sized house. It was fantastic. We took 4 of our children. Ages 9, 11, 14, & 15. All had the greatest time. There was plenty of room, the beds were very comfortable, the cabin was immaculate. The view was spectacular, there is a creek that the kids had a blast walking across the rocks on, a great fire pit for family bonfires, and marshmallow roasting. I highly recommend this to any family wanting a very special time away together.

Wonderful Rental

We have been going to Georgia for Thanksgiving since I was a kid (20+ years) at first we would stay with family who live in the area but as our family grew we needed to find a larger place to accommodate us all.
My husband, son and I rented this cabin this year for the three of us and my mom ended up staying a couple nights with us to. The place was perfect. The downstairs/basement area was like a separate living space and was just right for my husband and I while my mom stayed on the first floor and my son in the loft area. The cabin is close to the family we visit and the road to and from it was not bad at all. Loved it and have already booked it for next November. This place was hands down the best place we have stayed yet..

Our stay in this cabin was by far the best we have ever had in a rental home. It was extremely clean, well equipped, and had the most comfortable beds! We had 6 people (4 adults and 2 children) and we were very comfortable in the home. The view was amazing and there was plenty of playing room for kids outside. You won't be disappointed with your stay!

All I can say is this is a great property for any group on motorcycles. There is a bedroom and bath on each floor so everyone has some privacy and the cabin is located close to the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohola Skyway, Moonshiner, and other great biking roads. We even had a nice ride to Lake Lure one day. The front porch was great to sit on in the morning and take in the morning air. We liked having a garage for parking our bikes as well as a place to park our trailer. The owners were next door and were available for advice which was nice. If coming in from the north I would advise coming in from Dalton, GA on 76 versus coming in on 64 from Cleveland TN.

This property would be great for couples, families, or guys looking for some great motorcycling.

close to Appalachian Trail

Our son, nephew and friend were hiking the Appalachian Trail with our son thru-hiking and the other 2 hiking over their spring break. This was the perfect cabin for giving our son a 2 night rest before continuing on the trail and the 4 of us driving back to Illinois/Wisconsin. The cabin has everything needed, was very clean, owners very nice and location convenient to Appalachian Trail at Unicoi Gap between Hiawassee and Helen. Only down-side was the hot tub didn't work which was a disappointment to the boys after hiking for 5 days but still deserved 5 stars!
