Past tenants have highly praised how 'kid friendly' this home is. Some moms have said the kids were having so much fun they didn't want to go to Disneyland! Some moms have said that the kids wanted to leave Disneyland and 'go home'. When it is time to leave the park, just tell them they can go home and play and there will be no tears. I have 4 kids myself and I know if they have things to do and can keep themselves busy, I get to have a vacation too! I raised my children in the house and there is alot of love and caring that goes into this vacation house. I don't live out of town or out of state, but right in the next town, so I am always available for anything or any questions you might have. . I live in Fullerton(the next city over from Anaheim and the same city that the Disney Outlet store is in!)My guests love staying at my house and many are repeat guests coming for 3 to 4 years in a row. If you read the guest comments you will get more of a feel for my special Mickey Mouse house!
The kitchen is completely furnished with a skylight and dinette set and all the amenities you could possibly need. Both bathrooms have showers, (one has a bathtub) They both have blow dryers and curling irons and hot rollers. There is even a foot spa! Read the comments guests have left about the house!
There is a shopping center within walking distance that has a Food4Less grocery store, a CVS pharmacy, Big Lots store, ,great 98 cent store that has anything you may have forgotten and alot of small Disney things, pencil cases, pens and pencils, stickers, books, it changes all the time, take a look!) Bank of America, , KMart, many restuarants and fast food places, a Walgreens. Costco is about a 10 minute drive, and other grocery stores are close as well. About Wyndie Martins
Hi! Welcome to my home! I'm sure you will have a wonderful vacation!! I rent out my family home as a vacation rentals. It is loving called the Mickey Mouse house! Have your kids try to count all the mickeys in the house!! I love helping my guests plan their special vacations! I have met the most wonderful people from all over the world! I couldn't ask for a better job! I'm also a real estate agent and notary, so if you want to buy a house here, just let me know! :-)
Wyndie Martins purchased this house in 1985
Why Wyndie Martins chose Anaheim
I moved to Anaheim in 1985. I love Disneyland and Mickey Mouse! (when you get to the house, you will notice that fact! Lots of Mickeys everywhere!) My house is very open and so comfortable. The garage (playroom) is right off the kitchen so you can cook and watch your little ones.) It is a very well laid out home. I love my little neighborhood, it is an older, established neighborhood, where everyone knows eveyone else and takes care of each other. It is on a quiet, tree lined street and dead ends at Stoddard Park. It is great! My neighbors will help you if you need something. They are great and love my guests as well. A few years ago, I had a family from Australia visiting. The dad was looking out the kitchen window, which is in the front of the house so looks out front, and he saw my neighbors dad sitting outside enjoying the sunlight. Suddently the dad fell out of the chair onto the ground! My guest waited for him to get up but he didn't! My guest from Australia ran over to the house, pounded on the door and the daughter came out and she called the parametics and her dad was taken to the hospital. He had had a heart attack. Making a long story short, my neighbors and my guests became great friends and have corresponded for years. Last year my neighbors went to Australia to visit my guests. How is that for a great neighborhood story? and it is true. There are other stories about my neighbors and guests, but I'm almost out of space. The neighborhood is a little hidden treasure, Yet, right out of the neighborhood, there are stores and it is convenient to get everywhere! You will love it!
What makes this house unique
My home is one of the original Disneyland vacation rentals.(since 2004) i know what people want and need when they are on vacation and I have tried to provide those things! I am not an investor and this home and business are very personal and important to me and I treat my guests as if they are my family. The house is in a great, safe neighborhood but it is close and convenient to everything. The backyard is the best! You will love it! It's peaceful in the morning with all the tropical plants and very private, and when you get home after a long day at the park, it's a wonderful place to relax. You can lounge and watch the kids play and swim (there are lots of life vests, floaties and pool toys) someone can get the BBQ going on the gas grill under the palapa cooking a great dinner and just enjoy! In the evening after the kids go to bed, you can sit in the spa with a glass of wine or play cards or a board game on the table. It really is a special place. It's one of those places you'll think about when you are told to go to your happy place. You'll be back in my yard in your mind! ;-)
Guestbook comments from the owner
A journal update on the happenings in LA waiting for the Biggest Loser finale on Tuesday night.
Rosie and I landed in LA on Friday morning the 31st. We were the first to arrive so we just checked into a hotel to rest, recuperate and in general get ready for the weeks activities and for all the rest of the entourage to arrive. Ash and Brian arrived first on Saturday morning. Then Scott and Lindsey arrived later that afternoon. Billy, Linda, Jerry and Alexis got here on Saturday also. Melissa and the girls got here late Saturday evening with several other of David's friends and supporters arriving Sunday and Monday. Altogether there will be about 50 David supporters in the audience for the live show Tuesday.
David got a reprieve from his sequester and has been allowed to visit and play with the whole family and friends since Saturday night. He has his wrangler/guardian with him and he follows us every where we go to keep others away from us. It is great to see him and see the success he has had during the 90 days between the triathlon episode and today. He looks like he has met his final weight goal of 50% weight loss from his original 409 lbs. Probably will weigh in around 210 on Tuesday. Hope that will be enough to beat Rachel and Bobby but I must say it looks like a toss up between Rachel and Dave.
Saturday night the whole family (plus Dave and handler) went out to dinner together and had a blast. Ate at a Japanese Hibachi place and we all pigged out around the grill table. David had a salad. His handler had about 5 martinis and look like he needed every one of them. Seems to be a lot of stress on these caretakers making sure no paparazzi or outside fans get close enough to take pics or videos.
Sunday was Rosie to mass early followed by a huge superbowl watch party, swimming, hot tubing and just general family time. Rosie and I had rented a private home in Anaheim from a fantastic land lady/hostess with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, heated pool and hot tub, fully landscaped backyard with a South seas thatched roof, wet bar fully equipped with large BBQ grill, ice box, music system and plenty of libations. Had about 20 people here including all the family members with Dave and the ever present handler. Cooked brats, burgers, and dogs while everybody swam and watched Denver get the s--t kicked out of them. Wrapped up fairly early around 11 when the wrangler called curfew on Dave who left to go back to their secret hotel up in Hollywood.
