Upstairs south bedroom with Queen bed overlooks all of Kahalu'u Bay with all the snorkelers and surfers.
A large bathroom with a huge spa tub and shower separate the bedrooms. The north bedroom has two twin beds and shares the bath with the other upstairs bedroom.
All bedrooms have a TV plus another TV in the media room off and open to the great room and kitchen.
Both bedrooms are on the oceanside with gorgous views and intensity and sounds of the ocean.
Walk to snorkel beach called Kahaluu.:
This beach has a great surf break and there are vendors who will teach you to surf or stand up paddle board. But the snorkeling in the morning is wonderful with the sun rising over the mountians. blazing on the water for perfect light to take underwater pictures of the fish and turtles.
A large shopping center called Keauhou where there is grocery store, drug store, Jewerly store, many restruants, fine dining and take out, fine clothing and gift shops. There is a movie complex wtih many screens. This center is about 1 1/2 miles. to the south.
Less than one mile to the north is White Sands Beach with usually a beautiful white sand beach. This beach is also called Magic Sands as a good storm can take the sand away almost completely. Two beaches with in two miles of each other. Sandy beaches in Kona are to be enjoyed!
There is a golf course with two courses within two miles to the south called Kona Country club and is open to the general public. Then not to be missed is another course about 10 miles called Makalei golf course. This course starts its first tee uphill to give the golfer a challenge. The course heads up Hualalai mountian and the wildlife and birds are wonderful..
There is kyaking in near-by Keauhou Bay along with snorkel boats that will take you to other bays. Horsebackriding is to the south.
