MOTORCYCLISTS: Relax here and enjoy the scenery and camaraderie of fellow riders on Skyline Drive; winding roads with a great selection of country eateries offering wholesome meals and refreshing drinks. Trailer your bikes; leave the trailer secure at the cabin while you enter Skyline Drive at Big Meadows park entrance.

River Enthusiasts: Short drive to Luray and other Shenandoah River Outfitters; paddle or float during the day, come back to your relaxing mountain retreat at night. Several public launch sites available in area.

Relaxing Respite

The cottage was clean and neat and as advertised. It was so quiet at one point while we were sitting and reading on the deck that the hummingbird that came to the feeder sounded like a mini-helicopter! Our dog enjoyed it, and the owners were responsive, thoughtful and very nice. We wanted to get away from work and relax, which this cottage was perfect for. Make sure you have a good map if you want to explore the area!

Wonderful Relaxing Retreat

My family and I just spent the weekend at this delightful cabin. It was well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner was very pleasant and accomodating and the place was beauifully located and surrounded by trees so it was very private. It's rural enough so you feel like you are in touch with nature but close enough to town. We enjoyed the birds and deer that frequent the area. It's also very close to Bryce's ski resort. My daughter wanted to learn to ski and we spent the weekend at the mountain tubing and skiing. It's so family friendly. We also enjoyed exploring the little towns and shops closeby. I would highly recommend this place for a couple of family looking for a relaxing getaway.

Absolutely Perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin!!! We were pleased with the location, it was far enough away from everything that we were able to relax and have some solitude. At the same time, we were 30-45 minutes away from a Wal-Mart and plenty of food choices when we didn't want to cook.

The cats loved it as well, they were right at home. It was wonderful to find the DVDs and games and even better that we did not have the TV to distract us from our romantic, relaxing weekend.

The owner was a pleasure to deal with, kept in touch, and was very accommodating. She was prompt in responding and very kind.

We look forward to our next stay at either of her cabins and highly recommend this listing to anyone wanting to get away. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
