Four-bedroom cottage in quiet residential neighborhood. One block from the Beach and one block from the bay. A block and a half walk to one of the nicest beaches on the island; there are no major streets (two small streets) to cross to get to the lifeguard protected beach. Two streets to cross to get to the bay where there is a small dock for fishing and crabbing. The cottage is about 9 blocks south of the center of town, which includes recreational activities such as miniature golf and shopping. Built to catch the southerly breezes, the house also has air conditioning, two porches and a back yard for barbecuing. There are three bedrooms and two full baths upstairs and one bedroom and full bath downstairs. TVs in living room and upstairs bedrooms. High speed, wireless Internet and DVD players provided.

Beach Haven is at the southern end of Long Beach Island, a barrier island off the coast of New Jersey. The island is very narrow so it is an easy walk to both the beach and the bay. The beaches are beautiful and the surf is great. LBI is an hour from Atlantic City, an hour and a half from Philadelphia and two hours from New York City. Fishing is usually good, sailing is great and there is golf on the main land. There is also canoeing and kayaking in the nearby Pine Barrens. There are many good restaurants, lots of opportunity for nightlife as well as many activities for children. Ocean temperatures usually range between 65 and 72. The bay is warmer. There is a bay beach and places to rent boats, bikes, etc. Bike paths are available for safe biking and roller-blading. There is also a boat trip to Atlantic City daily.
