Casa Catolina is a spacious 3000 sq. ' home located 330 ft above sea level with spectacular views overlooking Playa Tamarindo, the Island of Isia Catalina, Playa Grande where the turtles are nesting, & the Estuary winds thru the lush tropical forest. It is walking distance down the hill to the beach, shops and restaurants. It is very common to see tropical birds, Howler monkeys, & incredible butterflies right from one of the many patios surrounding the home. The fully equipped kitchen/dinning room opens to the living room area where you have a full view of the infinity pool and the big blue Pacific. The patio is spacious but cozy as the home enfolds around it. The LR also opens to the pool and patio where a refreshing breeze brings in the sounds of the birds and ocean. Down the hall from the LR are 2 bed rooms & a den/family rm. The breath taking views of the sunsets can be viewed from the Den, Master BR, Kitchen, DR, 2nd BR, LR, pool, and all the Patios surrounding the spacious home.

You can fly to most all other designations and countries from The Tamarindo Airport.

Notes: There is maid service Mondays. Wednesdays and Fridays 7:00am to 12:00 noon. There is a 24 hour guard who lives on the property. He also is the gardener and maintains the pool.

outdoor grill: A built in outdoor sink, cabinets and counter top allow cooking from a portable grill easy and enjoyable. There is a small table that seats 4 adults which is a excellent place to have your breakfast while over looking the Pacific ocean, beaches and the Estuary.

Laundry: There is a laundry room off the kitchen and the maid will wash and fold your clothes if you choose her to do so. laundry will be done Mondays. Wednesdays or Fridays.

guard and guard dog: A guard and a guard dog live on the property in a apt attached to the garage. They have been employed for 8 years and they are there for your safety. Miguel also services the pool and takes care of the garden and grounds along with other small house hold repairs.

The views were great. Miguel, the live on property guard/pool cleaner was wonderful. We always felt safe and secure. The propoerty was cleaned on Mon, Wed, & Fri. The landscaping and pool was beautiful and kept up. The property management company (RPM) was usually available to answer questions, but was not prepared for our arrival. For example, the house was not cleaned before our arrival and toiletries and cleaning items were handed to us at arrival. Also, infomration for the area has not been updated recently, so some of the information provided as guidance was incorrect.

I would recommend this property to a friend. However I would not recommend the house to anyone with disabilities due to the rough terrain getting to/fromt he house.

The house is currently for sale. Renters will received calls for the property to be shown. I was not informed of this and it was a unexpected nusiance while on our vacation.

Tamarindo has many great restaurants (Coconuts, Seasons by Schlomy, Eat at Joes (great sushi), and Maria Bonita(in Langosta)
