Harwichport, Cape Cod is a popular summer get away destination. Located just before the 'elbow' of the Cape, Harwich is perfectly situated....just 30 minutes over the bridges, 15 minutes to Hyannis & 30 minutes to Provincetown. High Speed Nantucket ferry is ½ mile away as are supermarkets, Go-Carts, Trampolines, Library, & Cape Cod League Baseball games! Harwich is located on Nantucket Sound, with miles of white, sandy beaches. Fresh-water ponds abound as well. The 743-acre Long Pond is great for swimming and canoeing. With four well-protected harbors, Harwich is popular with boaters. Wychmere Harbor is one of the world’s most photographed harbors. In August, Harwichport hosts 'Sails Around the Cape,' a 140-nautical mile boat race that circumnavigates the Cape. For hikers, there are more than 600 acres of conservation land. The Cape Cod Rail Trail runs through town along an abandoned railbed-bikers pass by salt marshes, cranberry bogs, and ponds. Band concerts are Wednesday nights.

The home was absolutely beautiful and perfectly maintained. Upon entering, the house was sparkling it was so clean which is always very comforting. All of the amenities of home were provided which made things much easier when realizing I might have forgotten something when packing. I did have one question for the owner and she was easily accessible and got right back to me which was also a plus. The walking distance to the beach as well as to shops and restaurants was what we were looking for and this location did not disappoint. We usually hit the same restaurants when we are in the area and would recommend the following: The Port, The Hot Stove, Ocean House, The Marshside & Mahoney's - of course Clancy's is always an easy stop as well. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.
