Why stay in a hotel? Spacious Lake Winnebago home (lower unit of four family with it's own private entrance) in rural Neenah, WI (about 15 minutes from Oshkosh & Appleton). Directly on Lake Winnebago with a huge front yard. Lovely view of lake and stunning sunrises from living room windows. Large deck facing lake. Relax and watch the sunrise from the dock (bench at end of dock). Large front yard with fire pit & picnic table for s'mores or eating outdoors. Swing set and plenty of room to play (if you have children). Pets are welcome, inquire about policy. Public boat launch is less than 2.5 miles from the property and plenty of off-street parking if you decide to bring your boat with you. Please let me know if advance if you plan on bringing a boat. The house is listed as a town home as it is a four family building, each with their own private entrance. There are no stairs in this unit.

Nearest Airport: Appleton at 10 Miles
Nearest Motorway: Hwy 41 at 3 Miles
Car: recommended
Neenah is between Oshkosh and Appleton and is in the area known as the Fox Valley, WI. All of the following activities are within 45 minutes (or less) from my rental: Wolf River tubing, Appleton's Performing Arts Center (PAC), Green Bay - Resch Center and Lambeau Field-home of the Green Bay Packers, Menominee Park in Oshkosh - with petting zoo, minature train, paddleboats, etc. Drive up to Chilton to explore the Ledge View Cave System or drive to High Cliff State Park for hiking/bike trails and rock climbing. Aside from these activities you can also have a fishing guide take you out for the day to catch fish. The Bergstrom-Mahler Museum in downtown Neenah has the largest and finest collection of paperweights (and there is a fantastic park across the street). Of course, there are restaurants, the Paine Art Center/Museum, nightclubs, golf, public swimming pools and shopping.

Additional Info on Home: This home is a lower-unit of a four family building. It has its own private entrance. (Therefore this is why I chose the type as 'townhome'). There are no stairs in this unit.

Current & planned updates:: Master bath is fully remodeled. Also, new furniture has been ordered. If all goes as planned there will also be central air installed prior to this season beginning.

Weekend stay too short

We stayed here for the weekend to attend the Green Bay/Chicago season opener game on 9-13-09 and were very pleased with the accommodations. The home is clean, comfortable and well-stocked with just about anything you need; just like home. We were close enough to Lambeau Field, yet had the peace and quiet of the lakefront, which is exactly what we were looking for. The owner was very kind and accommodating. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer....and the Bears lost! I would highly recommend this property. Thanks Michelle. I would love to come back and bring the grandkids; they would really enjoy the lake!

Great Place- Even in the Winter

My family and I stayed here in February and we loved it. It has wonderful views of the lake and it was fun to see all of the ice fishing going on out on the lake! The house is fully equiped and very family friendly.

We couldn't get over how much space we had. We'll definitely stay here again!
