Beautiful new 5 bedroom, 2 bath home ready for your summer vacation. Within walking distance to a beautiful lake. Just a short drive to Newport beaches, mansions and shopping or the many beautiful South County beaches, some of the most beautiful in New England. Just bring your towels and linens, everything else is here for you. Your home away from home includes free wireless internet, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, lobster pot, TV with cable, DVD, VCR, 5 ceiling fans, 2 air conditioners, washer & dryer and parking for 5 cars. There is plenty of living space with a large den with 2 couches, an outdoor deck with furniture and a gas grille.

See a fishing village in operation in Galilee where you can buy lobsters off the boats and enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the ocean. Have dinner on the docks or buy fresh fish to cook at home. Ferry from Galilee to Block Island. Spend the day exploring, shopping, biking or swimming. Historic Newport featuring fine beaches, sailing, shopping, cruises, waterfront restaurants and tours of magnificent mansions is just a 15 minute drive as is the quaint village of Wickford. Take the fast ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Drive 40 minutes to Providence to eat at world class restaurants on Federal Hill, tour historic museums and homes on the East Side or take in a show in the theater district. Great house and excellent value

I stayed here with my in-laws, a group of 10, for one full week in August 2008. The group was 4 couples in their 20s and 30s, and one couple in their 50s. The house was perfect for our needs. There are 5 good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living area is spacious and the kitchen is modern. The deck is also a nice size, and there is a beautiful large table on the deck for outdoor dining. Most importantly, the house was extremely clean and well-maintained. Other rentals I've seen in Narragansett are extremely beat up and even smelly, and this house felt very new, modern, and clean. We would definitely consider renting here again, particularly because we felt that the price was very fair. Although the house is not within walking distance of any ocean beaches (although there is a small river beach), we did not consider that a negative. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, and we were happy to have a nice house within easy driving distance of the beaches, as opposed to a less nice house that was more expensive but within walking distance.
