Beautiful 2 bed / 2 bath oceanfront condo on the south side of St. Thomas (top floor / end unit). The condo is conveniently located on the south east side of the island in Bolongo Bay. Enjoy the breathtaking views from almost every room in the condo - views of the ocean from master bedroom, kitchen, living and dining from the 2 sets of sliding glass doors. There also is an over-sized balcony that runs the length of the building - great for meals or just relaxing. There is a full kitchen although you may never need it because you can walk to three fabulous restaurants (Iggie's Patio Beach Restaurant / Bar, Mim's (finer dining) and the Lobster Grille at Bolongo Bay Resort). Not to mention a pool that sits just over the beach.

Bolongo Bay is conveniently located 6 miles from the airport. The travel time downtown is about 2 miles and it is about 2.5 miles to Redhook (ferry ride to St. John or the British Virgin Islands). There also is a grocery store within 1.5 miles. Most guests suggest a rental car however some prefer the use of a taxi. I personally am impatient so I always rent a car. The car rental agencies are located in the airport and the ones I have used are Avis and Budget. Make sure you book your rental car when you book your tickets because they do run out of cars.

There are a variety of activities in Bolongo bay including a dive shop, reef in the bay for snorkeling, catamaran for sailing, variety of free and rental water toys. You never have to leave Bolongo Bay for the perfect vacation. If this doesn't meet your criteria then you are minutes from duty free shopping in Charlotte Amalie or a ferry ride from Red Hook to St. John or the British Virgin Islands.

Why Andrew Malone chose Southside

St. Thomas is a beautiful island with incredible topography. I fell in love with this condo in Bolongo Bay because it is one of the few condos on the island ON THE BEACH. There are plenty of places with incredible views but very few with accessibility to the beach, restaurants and shops. Just go down a couple of stairs and you are on a beautiful beach. There are also 3 restaurants on site yet you are minutes to downtown for shopping (2.5 miles) or minutes to the ferry in Redhook (3 miles).

I am SO glad we were finally able to get to St Thomas for a week instead of a few hours. It is a beautiful place, and even driving on the "wrong side" was fun. The eight of us want to let the world know that Bolongo Bay and your condo (and Karen's) are the perfect places to explore the islands, play on the beaches, and relax all your cares away. (We spent loads of time in both places!) You have decorated a lovely island retreat and it made our stay even more wonderful.
Back home, but dreaming of sunrises over the water and dinners in the soft breezes at Bolongo Bay. 'Til next time.... our heartfelt thanks! Jerry, Mary Jane, Lamar, Cheryl, Leonard, Vicki, Alan, and Melonye

A wonderful vacation location at a very nice property

My family stayed in Andrew's amazing condo over Christmas. The location, amenities and resort facilities made our family vacation a memorable one. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the beautiful waterfront view. The condo was roomy and very clean just as described. The convenience of having a washer and dryer in the unit allowed us to take fewer clothes which we really didn't need as we spent most of our time in bathing suits. We had convenient parking and the pool was wonderful. We will definitely go back and stay at the condo again. Thanks to Andrew for such a wonderful vacation.

Thanks to Andrew for taking great care of us and for having such an awesome place on St Thomas! We LOVED it all! Amazing views from the patio - amazing sound of the surf to go to sleep to and amazing dining opps just a walk down to the beach. Iggies is great fun and the food at the Lobster Grille at The Bolongo Bay Resort was excellent! Didn't make it to Mim's this time. Thanks for all the great amenities like cable TV and all the games and wi-fi too! oh and so important the beds were GREAT! We will be back!

Best condo on the island!!

What an amazing experience. From the beginning Andrew was very quick to answer any questions. Upon arrival we were more than pleased with the location, cleanliness and extra amenities you won't find elsewhere. The view is stunning and being at the end of the building, you can enjoy the music from Iggies at the perfect volume. We had three adults and two children in the condo and there was plenty of room. Not one person in my group had any complaints. We chose to rent a car and it worked out perfectly. After exploring the island each day, we were greeted with the most comfortable beds we have ever experienced in a rental. Iggies is a ton of fun and the staff is very friendly. It is certainly nice to stroll from the condo...grab a bite and stroll back. Andrew has a real gem in Bolongo Bay and you can tell he takes pride in maintaining the unit. My only fear is that if I tell too many people, someone will book the week I am hoping for next year! I have been to Maui, Kauai and the Bahamas...St. Thomas was the best week hands down. Best view: Mountaintop (worth the drive). Best restaurant: Old Stone Farmhouse...WOW. Best snorkeling: Coki Beach (bring underwater camera and dog biscuits). Everything is easily accessible from Bolongo by car. Thank you Andrew for sharing your piece of Heaven with my family...a memory to be treasured forever!!
