The Shoo Fly is a classic, oceanfront beach cottage located on the southern end of Kure Beach. This beautiful, single family home is sure to bring you and your loved ones many warm, summer vacation memories!! Ocean Front 4-bedroom 3 bath cottage w/ detached walkway to the beach. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet while sitting on the OCEANFRONT PORCH w/ Chairs, and listen to the sounds of the waves. This cottage has a living area w/flat screen tv, wireless internet also provided for your entertainment and a fully equipped kitchen. A Master bedroom w/king, 2nd bedroom w/ queen and 3rd bedroom w/full and 2 baths. Downstairs you have a separate entrance to the 4th bedroom w/ single over full bunk, small kitchen area, flat screen tv and bath. Take advantage of all Kure Beach and Pleasure Island have to offer! Enjoy the 30 minute ferry ride to historic Southport, Go fishing at the oldest pier on Pleasure Island, visit the North Carolina Aquarium, or go shopping on the Riverfront in Historic Wilmington. Maximum occupancy 9 and parking for maximum 3 cars. NO PARKING IS ALLOWED ON ANY GRASS AREA, SAND OR THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO REMOVE THEM.

Family fun

The support beam in corner of deck is broken and that part gives master bedroom over head light is very dim. I was very pleased with the house.

The beach was fantastic. The house needs some simple repairs and appears neglected on basic repairs and amenities. Is operational with the basics and the location is fantastic.

Property team was very kind and nice to help. House is in a great location. It s very dated and a bit ran down. Electrical issues when we stayed. (Light switch lightly shocked a child) It was clean and lovely view- we made the best of it. There is also not a walk way from the house to the beach like the other beach front homes, so we had to go to the neighboring lot to take the walkway. If your ok with things a bit rickety and falling apart, you’ll be fine. Walls peeling in the bathroom. Old dryer that puts lent all over your clothes. Deck that was leaning a bit. 4th detached room with bunk beds not suitable for young children given it’s downstairs outside entry only. Also with it being a sort of basement it smelt musty/moldy and a dehumidifier in the room (didn’t work well). Was slightly disappointed in what we received for the price compared to other NC beach homes.

Excellent beach. Very nice property. We only needed a 1 bedroom, but this house was too good to pass up for the price. Right on the beach! Pets allowed! Easy process check-in and check-out.
