Description of the Mashpee vacation house rental
A boater's delight from land or sea! Spend your vacation overlooking Little River at this Monomoscoy Island home. Our 4 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront home offers both relaxation and activities nearby. Swim off the dock, or reserve the space for your boat; Martha's Vineyard is a close neighbor and easy to get to - only 1/2 hour by boat from the dock. Or just watch the boats go by as they head to Waquoit Bay and Nantucket Sound.
Our open area living room/kitchen is spacious with panoramic views of the water. Watch the sunset from the living room or the patio. This private home in a quiet seaside neighborhood is part of a wildlife sanctuary - walk the mile long island and view the osprey nesting. Leave the island via a causeway and shopping and activities are only 10 minutes away.

Monomoscoy Island is a designated wildlife sanctuary where osprey reside all along the mile and a half island. Walking and biking are great activities to do on the island, and kayaking is very popular - just lower the kayaks into the river from the yard and explore. At the end of a busy day, you will enjoy peace and quiet near the end of this beautiful island. Jump in the river or the outdoor shower, then relax on the patio or in the living room during the evening and watch the sunset over the river.
