Also, please make a point of it to visit our Naval Aviation Museum which is a very short drive from the beach. It is a must see for all to enjoy and the IMAX theater is magnificent and features some wonderful films which you will be very pleased you took the time to see. My favorite (Hurricane on the Bayou) and of course (The Blue Angels).

Crabby Roses

Stayed a full week at "Crabby Roses" and thoroughly enjoyed our rest and relaxation in an absolutely gorgeously decorated 16th floor condo overlooking the Gulf--very homey, not like some vacation homes that are so cold. All the ameneties--pools and spa, exercise facilities, dishwasher, washer/drier, jacuzzi tub, comfortable mattresses and the spectacular balcony--enjoyed glasses of wine, breakfasts and two fresh seafood/ fish dinners overlooking the sugar sand beach and beautiful Gulf waters.
Spent most of the days on the beach--gorgeous weather, and ate at some wonderful restaurants recommened by owners George and Marcia--Mango's, Lillian's Pizza (I recommend their shrimp, Italian sausage, garlic and mushroom pizza--the best pizza ever!) and a visit to Flora-Bama (crazy and wild) are musts.
Had hoped that tropical depression "Jerry" was going to make an entrance and allow us an extra day or two at "Crabby Roses", but unfortunately "Jerry" fizzled out, and we headed north on time.
If you have the opportunity to visit and stay at "Crabby Roses" for any amount of time, I highly recommend it --the only reason I gave 4 stars for pictures was because NO picture could capture the beauty or feeling of this lovely vacation destination.
Thanks George and Marcia for sharing your lovely home away from home with us. We Will Be Back!

Best vacation ever!

I have to say our stay at the Beach Colony Resort in your "Crabby Roses" condo was the best vacation we have ever had. From the very beginning with the listing and description of the property to the very end of our stay, everything was just as you said it would be, PERFECT! Communication with George was a pleasure. He provided service beyond our expectations. The Property was very secure, extremely well maintained, and in a beautiful setting. The decor of the condo was in good taste and provided a very relaxing and comfortable feeling. I must say I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. And the veiw from the balcony is spectacular! Families and couples of all ages seemed to be enjoying the beach activities during our stay. There are quite a lot of activities in the area to choose from. Besides the beach, our favorites were the Warf in Orange Beach and Zeeks Marina. Both have fabulous restaurants and fun things to do for the whole family. I have told all my friends and family that I know of the perfect place for them to stay when planning their next trip to Florida. We will be going back to stay at Crabby Roses.

Early Summer Visit

Excellent vacation home. The Crabby Rose was the perfect family vacation spot. The condo was very well kept and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the quiet, less congested prestine beaches of the gulf on a daily basis and never had to wait for a poolside chair. The complex and grounds are safe and secure and the staff were helpful and welcoming.

Loved Crabby Rose's

We stayed at Crabby Rose’s during the first week of August, 2009. When we walked in the door, everything we had seen on the internet and more was at our fingertips. We found a fully equipped kitchen, right down to a zesting rasp along with every other utensil anyone would need. The decor was a beautifully maintained tropical/jungle theme, including specialty animal lamps and leopard sheets in the master bedroom. The balcony which overlooks the ocean and provides a view that reaches for miles, is also large enough to provide for an outdoor eating area with plenty of elbow room. This building’s location is a little forward on the beach, so no other structures are in your way as you look out all the way to Pensacola beach. We really felt as though we were at home here with the washer and dryer and a full complement of beach items, including beach chairs, a cooler, fishing equipment and a bunch of beach toys for tots. You probably won’t find a place anywhere nicer than this one. Our contacts with the owner were very helpful and his information was accurate. No need to look any further!

GREAT TRIP

We just returned from one of the best family vacations we have had. Our 8mo had a great first beach trip, and our 8yr, 9yr, and 12yr olds had a blast. The condo was wonderful...everything we hoped and more. Made all of us feel like we were in a home, not a hotel. Great pool and beach access. We will definitely be returning to "Crabby Roses". Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with our family.
