The home is nicely decorated & comfortable & the view AMAZING!!! My husband & I had the top floor master with 2 balconies, a bathroom, & comfortable sitting area with TV. Our 2 boys had their own room with a private bathroom on the main floor. My mom & dad then had their own room with a bath & balcony on the lower level. There were small guest bags with shampoos & soaps & slippers, with fluffy white robes waiting for us, which was an unexpected treat since our luggage didn't arrive with us, but was delivered the next day by mid-am. Our boys lived in the pool & the owners were kind enough to leave pool toys and beach chairs, even a cooler for our use. There were many games at the villa & we played them for hours! I can't say enough about the view! It will take your breath away! We sat on the open deck reading or just watching the water & clouds. If that had been all we did it would have been worth it! The caretakers Eddie & Mary were wonderful. Eddie met us at the airport, we felt so welcomed, and thankfully lead us to the villa, up winding roads in the dark, the first time getting there we were greatful Eddie was leading the way! It only takes a day to know your way around. Eddie was a real gem making sure we had everything we needed. We asked him to stay for a refreshment, & we sat on the deck with the gorgeouse warm breeze & distant lights of the islands off in the distance, while he told us all about the Caribbean. What a great start! We loved going into town or other parts of the island, then coming back to the villa which feels miles away & yet only minutes to everything. We liked Yacht Haven to eat, every restaurant there was delicious. Find out when the cruise ships are in port & avoid those days for shopping-some 20,000 passangers flood the town! We went to St. John which we wish we had been able to spend more time at as it is quaint & beautiful, sand like satin & great snorkling Trunk Bay for the kids. Molly Malones is overrated, not friendly, food is so-so and the drinks nothing special, just that they come in a pineapple or coconut. Off the Hook has the best food & drink and we went there three times during our 10 day stay. Must have the Lobster! We went twice to Iggys on the beach-a surprise treat-strong drinks & their fried portabello with sweet chili sauce a must! For provisions go to Food Center it is clean, friendly & has everything, even live lobsters! A dream come true! It is a wonderful memory for us & we hope to return again.
