Our light and airy, two-bedroom/two-bath, end unit condo features windows on three sides, and provide great 270-degree views of the ocean, southern Carolina Beach, and the bay. It is situated just steps from the beach. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and an ocean view. The second bedroom has two twins. And there is a living room sleeper sofa. The condo sleeps six. Amenities include a large pool, reserved car parking, and an outside balcony with bistro table/chairs. The kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, full stove, disposal, coffee maker, toaster and all the pots and pans you’ll need. There’s even wine and margarita glasses and a blender. Electronics include Internet wireless, a large TV with cable, DVD + VCR in the living room, TV/ DVD in master bedroom and a TV in 2nd bedroom. A CD/tape stereo w/ipod jack for those beach tunes, a wet bar, and a washer dryer. Wilmington is just 20 minutes away, and has many great restaurants, mansions, a riverfront, museums etc

Carolina Beach is on a barrier island with the ocean on one side and the bay on the other. Great fishing or sightseeing charter boats of all sizes dock in the marina for dinner cruises and bay/ocean fishing. Warm gulf current keeps the ocean temps great for swimming or surfing. Huge wide white sand beach. Many local festivals such as Seafood Blues& Jazz, Azelia, and Chowder Cook-off. Wilmington is an eclectic, historic, yet funky city with much to see and do, located on the Cape fear river only 30 min away from city center. Great accessible airport too. Lots of great golf opportunities, or just lay out and tan.

When we first arrived I was a little nervous, the roof at the top of the stairway was leaking and plaster was laying on the floor. (The roof was repaired during the week we were there.)

The condo was very clean and very well equipped. Very nicely furnished and comfortable bed! The pool was perfect. From the condo balcony you can see the ocean and hear the waves. The condo had beach toys, boogy board and beach chairs to use. The washer/dryer in the unit was wonderful! I would recommend this property.

Kate's restaurant for breakfast (open 6:30 to 1 everyday), Fudge/ice cream shop on the boardwalk is wonderful, Cotton Mill and USS North Carolina in Wilmington is fun, ferry trip to Southport and shopping there was fun. There's a consignment shop in the same shopping center as Maxway that had some really great things and cheap! I just don't remember the name...sorry! Blackburn's seafood for fresh seafood if you want to make it yourself.
We had a great time!
Owner's Response: The condo complex has undergone a lot of renovations this past year...new pool, new roof (as noted by one reviewer), landscaping, paint, blacktop. Looks great and the best part is that it's all done!

This was such a wonderful condo with so many cute touches. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed the beach very much. We went to the aquarium and had a lovely time. The nicest part was relaxing here at the end of the day- there were so many books, games and movies provided. Everywhere I looked were wonderful decorations on mirrors, light switches and lamps. What a sweet, wonderful get-away.

We loved your condo! We spent most of our time just swimming and relaxing by the ocean. The beach here is absolutely beautiful and your home is very accommodating. I especially liked all the seashells and beach decor- very beautiful! I like your choices of blues and yellows. Your bar is very cool too! Thanks for the generous supply of dishes, utensils and spices. They made it very convenient.
