At our peaceful scene you can catch a Rocky Mountain sunrise across the Animas Valley as well as hear the river flowing at night. Also, the quaint Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad passes by up the hillside; if you wish you can wave to the riders from the master bedroom deck! The condo sits high up enough off Highway 550 that you don't hear traffic noise, but close enough you can access it quickly. You can drive right up to the front door. Once inside, the main level consists of great room, kitchen, laundry, 1 full bath and 1 bedroom with full size bed. The upper level has a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and 1 with a queen bed, and a full bath. A nice front porch is available as well as patio on the main level, and a deck off of the master bedroom. It is a non-smoking unit, and we don't allow pets.

The location is one of the main things you’ll love about our comfy condo. We are right in the middle of all the things you want to do when you visit the Durango area. If skiing/snowboarding/snowshoeing are on your agenda, you’re already half way up the mountain; a mere 15 minute drive. If it’s road or mountain biking, hiking, fishing, birdwatching, etc., you could be as close as five minutes away. When you’re ready to step out and hit the town for shopping, dining at one of Durango’s great restaurants, or go sightseeing or numerous other activities, you’re only fifteen minutes away. At our great location, you can have the best of both worlds! We offer many creature comforts to make your getaway all that you are hoping for as you get out and take in all that the Durango area has to offer. There is always something to do; depending on your tastes. From more adventuresome day-trips to sightseeing or exploring historic Durango, you will have plenty of activities to choose from.

We had a great time. The condo was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay hassle free. It was only 15 minutes from Durango. We enjoyed the Mild to Wild rafting and the Duango to Silverton train. The advice we received from a sporting goods store in town to fish at Lake Electra was not so good. We think we would have had a much better experience at one of the other Lakes in the area. But again the condo was perfect and a great location for us to stay. We would definitely come back.
