Best View in Maui

We stayed at Balinese House for one week in October. We were traveling with our infant son and grandparents. We had plenty of room for 4 adults (plus an extra friend who spent a few days with us) and a baby. It was wonderful having access to baby articles such as a high chair and pack-n-play so we did not have to schlepp them with us. The house was clean and provided all necessary amenities.

NOW...It was GOREGOUS! We stayed for a total of 4 weeks in Hawaii, including a condo in Kihei, a condo in Kauai and a condo and hotel in Honolulu. This was the most amazing view of the all -put together! We sat on the lanai nightly - my husband was thrilled with the grill and enjoyed our evenings after our son went to bed.

The owners were very pleasant and it was interesting to learn about Kimo's Hawaiian ancestors and his coffee company (we found a brochure in town!).

Lahaina was a pleasant town offering night life, restaurants and water activities. My husband and father charted a boat to go fishing one morning and on the north side of town is a wonderful beach for infants and toddlers, appropriately named "Baby Beach."

If we ever make it back to Maui, I see myself staying at the Balinese Cottage again.

While everything ran smoothly throughout the duration of our stay, I did find communication with their reservation representative to be sometimes spotty.

Beautiful Home

This was one of our best visits to Maui, ever. The house is beautiful, in a perfect spot between the West Maui Mountains and ocean below, surrounded by other beautiful homes with a trail that crosses the mountain if you love to walk. The owners are terrific, extremely helpful, leave you to yourself, provide all your needs except food, and have a friendly dog named Emma with her baby, Spot. They love to visit and we enjoyed them, too. We definitely want to come back and stay at this perfect place.

Wonderful Balinese house

We could not have been more pleased with the house we rented. It was a great value, private (although the kitchen window could use blinds like in the spare bedroom) and even had a welcoming mascot Emma! too cute for words ;)

All the amenities of home, the bed was very comfortable, and the two bathrooms a pleasure to start and end the day with. (might we reccomend a wireless internet setup, so guests can check email from the awesome lanai or rooftop deck?)

the wrap-around lanai was wonderful and the views magnificent. the spiral stairs leading to a nice surprise...a sunset observation deck on the roof was awesome!
(the trees in front need a bit of pruning, the better to enjoy the wonderful views of the ocean and horizon)...

All in all, we were greatly pleased and would love to come back. we will also be highly recommending the rental to all of our friends...the owners were also a pleasure to meet...very nice people!

Great Vacation

We truly enjoyed the seclusion and privacy after being in the busy downtown area of Lahaina. The sunsets on the roof were amazing and the view was unbelieveable. The shopping and dining in Lahaina were all any tourist could ask for. The closeness to all the activities was also time saving. The owner was very helpful and very friendly. Everything worked so well we didn't need to contact them for anything. We would definetely recommend this house to friends or acquaintances planning to visit Maui.

Amazing private retreat

This high end 2 bedroom house is away from it all yet close to everything. Unobstructed panoramic ocean views make it perfect for reading in the morning and BBQ in the evening. the inside has granite everywhere, center island bar for easy meal prep and even an area for the lap top. Never needed to lock a door. Saw the owner on check-in and they gave a quick tour and didn't see anyone near the place again and we had it for two weeks.

Can't wait to go back!
