This modern, one-story, well-equipped town home in Old Town Albuquerque features quiet, elegant beauty in Albuquerque's most desired area. Walk to scenic Old Town plaza, the museum district and many fine restaurants. Convenient to I-40 and less than 10 minutes from the airport, but nestled in a quiet neighborhood.

Property includes two master bedrooms, living room with fireplace and comfortable dining area. Modern kitchen has new appliances, including dishwasher and microwave oven. Washer/dryer, too. This home features an artfully decorated 1,200 sq. feet of living space and has an attached one-car garage with automatic garage door opener. It's great for mid-size or smaller cars. If you are driving something larger, you'll want to make use if any of the numerous parking areas scattered throughout our little community. On-street parking is not allowed.

Enjoy the private atrium off the living room and the sunny back patio.

About Robert Klumpp

My partners and I decided we would purchase a home and furnish it just for folks coming to vacation in Albuquerque. We had such a good response that we have since purchased two other homes in the same town house community (listing #'s 180129 and 203791). Why Robert Klumpp chose Albuquerque

We had a demanding list of requirements: - We wanted a home that was convenient to some of the best that Albuquerque has to offer. Great restaurants, shops and museums. - The home had to be convenient to get to (close to the Interstate). - The home had to be in a friendly neighborhood that was quiet and safe. - The floor plan had to provide easy access and sufficient privacy. The Pueblo del Norte town house community perfectly filled all these requirements.

What makes this townhome unique

My partner Jana is a great decorator. She has created some marvelous living spaces. The pictures tell the story. Plus, since the home is within walking distance to some of Albuquerque's best restaurants, a great winery and a Starbucks, what more could I ask for?

Located close to everything and an excellent setup

We enjoyed staying at the property. It was tastefully decorated and had excellent amenities. We enjoyed watching cable television on those days that were too cold to go outside and chose to sleep in. The kitchen was very useful for making dinner and sitting around the table and talking. The weather was really cold during our stay so we were not able to take advantage of the courtyard and sitting outside.

The master bedroom was a bit cold on the night we stayed there. The heater was running and making the front room uncomfortably warm and our room was cold. It could be an imbalance in the HVAC or it could be air leakage around the external doors. It's an easy fix but it was cold a few nights.

We would definitely recommend the property and will likely stay there again in the future. Thank you for opening your home to our family.

Great Old Town Location!

We are Albuquerque natives, but have since moved to Phoenix. We still have family in Albuquerque and were visiting for Thanksgiving. This was so much better than a hotel for our needs. My parents were able to come and stay with us while we were visiting the in-laws. We were able to cook and relax in between our visits. And we brought both of our fur babies! They are small so the little courtyards were great for them. I really liked the floor plan. It was perfect for us. As far as Albuquerque goes,you can't beat this location.

Great!

My mom and I booked this property during the balloon festival and had a great time. The whole unit was very clean, great amenities, great location and there were a lot of recant up to date brochures and pamphlets about Albuquerque which we appreciated immensely. The only thing is, is that the garage is very tight and at an awkward angle to park our rental car so we had to use the parking lot and the garage door remote opener didn't work. Other than that everything was superb and I would definitely stay here again!!

We had a wonderful time at your home. Beautifully furnished. Short walk to old town. Everything we needed or wanted. Thank you for the use of your home. The standard wonderful food as well as trombones. Only negative comment-could use darker drapes in front bedroom. Otherwise all was wonderful! Will stay again when in the area again!

Great location, lovely condo!

My wife and I, and another couple, stayed 3 nights here while visiting Albuquerque. It's right off of I-40, easy to get to, and a short walk to Old Town. (Follow Richard's driving directions once you get off I-40. He makes it easy to find the condo in the maze of streets in the complex). The condo is tastefully decorated and it was clean. It is bright inside during daylight hours. And it is quiet at night. Bedrooms were good-sized with bathrooms en-suite; one is on one end of the condo while the other is on the other end = nice privacy for each couple. We didn't find the pillows particularly comfortable. And we would encourage putting another lamp for bedside reading in the bedroom that has the two beds. We cooked breakfast in each morning and one dinner. Most of what you need is in the kitchen but some things are a bit worn (a new frying pan is recommended and a spatula). There is washer and dryer in the kitchen behind its own door = very convenient. It's a very short walk to Old Town; and very convenient to get on Central Avenue. There are restaurants nearby. We enjoyed dinner at Hacienda del Rio right on the square. Richard, the owner, was very easy to work with. He was responsive to emails and phone calls. We'd stay here again!

Ski: Take the scenic Sandia Peak Tramway (the world's longest; about 10 miles away) and ride to the top of Sandia peak for a day of great family skiing. --- Want more? --- Ski Sante Fe (about an hour's drive), visit Taos, Angel Fire or Red River (about 3 hours north) or Ski Apache (about 2 hours south). New Mexico offers some of the best skiing in the country, but don't tell anyone, we like to keep it a secret!
