Swim with the dolphins, para sail, snorkel, or do some deep sea fishing, jogging or cycling trails near by. Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo is the 'hot spot' on the pacific coast known as the Mexican Riviera. Located 10 hours south of Puerto Vallarta and three hours north of Acapulco it is the 'hidden jewel' on the pacific coast. Ixtapa with all the amenities found in a world class resort; home to two world class golf courses, world class restaurants, marinas, swim, surf ( host to the 2006 national surfing championship) parasail, jet ski or relax with a book on the beach or poolside, swim with dolphins, visit an adventure park, water park, or go shopping in one of the many luxury shops. Zihuatanejo, (4 miles away) host to annual Sailfest and annual international guitar festival, is a laid back fishing village with all the same beach activities on a protected bay. Book a deep sea fishing trip for marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, jack cravelle, or roosterfish. Shop for that special local artifact, taxco silver, native art and clothing from Guerrero and Oaxaca. Enjoy the culture and fiestas of the people
