Mazatlan Condo Rental Photos and Description
Condo, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps up to 8, large terrace, steps to pool & beach
Our 3 bedroom, beach-level condo is located in a secluded golf and beach resort on the Isla Piedra peninsula is just steps from both a spectacular infinity pool and a pristine, private beach that stretches north up the Pacific Coast for over 10 miles to Isla Piedra.
After a short 10 minute ride from the Mazatlan airport, you will be immersed in the natural beauty of a beach and ocean paradise, so untouched by human hands, it hosts a Private Sea Turtle Sanctuary for the protection and hatching of this endangered species.
The ocean side of the resort provides a magical setting for solitary walks on the beach, a relaxing swim, or a thrilling surf on the waves of the Pacific.
Just a few steps in the other direction, away from the surf and sand, puts you on the smooth greens and pond-lined, lush fairways of a magnificent 18 hole, championship golf course, rated among the finest in all of Mexico.
The only noise you will hear during your stay are the sounds of the surf and ocean breeze. Congestion at the resort is limited to pelicans flying overhead, or schools of dolphins swimming up the coastline. The only honking to be heard will come from ducks, inhabiting the small lakes woven among the fairways of the golf course.
Step from our private, ground-level terrace to a spectacular pool area with heated spa, swim-up bar with thatched roof palapa, and lush gardens all around. For those that want sand and surf, the beach is a few steps from the pool area with its own showers and beach palapas and chairs for those who prefer to feel the sand between their toes.
Our spacious 3-Bedroom/3-Bathroom condo is beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated. There are stunning views of the ocean, pool and garden through large sliding glass doors and from our private terrace. Fall asleep to the sound of the surf in the master bedroom that opens to the terrace, while facing both the pool and the ocean.
The 1900 square foot condo features a master bedroom with spacious master bathroom, along with two additional bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen with eating area, along with a separate dining room. Washer and dryer come in handy for those that want to pack light. There is a closet full of all types of beach, pool, snorkeling, fishing, and sporting equipment.
Spend your days golfing at one of Mexico’s top courses, relaxing by the pool or walking the miles of quiet beach. The natural world surrounds you, with pelicans surfing the waves and the occasional glimpse of dolphins, or even a whale splashing in the Pacific. Beachcombers are astounded at the lack of competition to collect shells, sand dollars, sea horses and other treasures of left by the tides.
Visit the turtle sanctuary and watch the release of newly hatched turtles thrashing into the ocean. In season, a nighttime beach walk can produce the amazing sight of turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs. For those more athletically inclined you can swim in the ocean, boogie board (several are left in condo for use) or surf. Tennis Courts are a short walk away, as is a luxury spa and fitness center. No day is complete without watching the sunset from our terrace or the pool’s hot tub.
The golf course clubhouse has a fitness center, restaurant and bar. The resort also features a small boutique hotel
with restaurants, cafe, poolside bar, and luxury spa facilities. The resort has a small general store for those items that just can't wait for a trip to town.
Transportation to and from the airport, and into Mazatlan, can be arranged through the resort's inexpensive private shuttle service.
If you tire of the resort's peace and tranquility--the hustle and bustle of the city of Mazatlan is a 25-minute drive away. You can visit the historic district (my personal favorite) or hike to the top of the El Faro Lighthouse... the highest lighthouse in the world. For the total tourist experience, head to the beaches of the Golden Zone to get your hair braided, buy cheap t-shirts and souvenirs, or drink a margarita upside-down. Mazatlan's fishing fleet is famous for World Class sport fishing excursions, and their commercial boats harvest tons of shrimp--so finding a great seafood meal is easy. Best of all, at the end of the day, you can leave the noise and chaos of the city behind, returning to the peace and serenity of our unique vacation destination.

About David Gerard Kaminski
Our Silicon Valley based family treasures the beauty and solitude this place offers. When both Carmen and I had stressful careers in the tech sector, 'Going to Mexico,' meant unwinding, relaxing, and celebrating. The addition of Annika and Joshua to our family has changed our focus a bit (school event. Our trips to Isla de la Piedra are even more enjoyable (though I sometimes miss the days when of our main worries were when to take a nap or who was designated make the margaritas and guacamole). The golf course is still gorgeous... I just don't have time to play it anymore. I have come to appreciate the fact that our place is as magical in the eyes of our children, as it was to us as a newly married couple - Paul Kaminski

Why David Gerard Kaminski chose Mazatlan
We searched all over North America for the best combination of secluded unspoiled beachfront, fantastic tropical weather, and championship golf. No place even came close to the resort on the shores of the Isla de La Piedra Peninsula. The fact that there was an international airport within 10 minutes was a huge bonus. The private, gated complex with 24 hr security is important to feeling safe with our family. Not having to deal with annoying vendors on the beach allows us enjoy our time on the sand and in the surf without interruption, and the absence of crowds makes us feel like we have this unique natural paradise all to ourselves.
What makes this condo unique
The benefits start when the wheels of the plane touch ground. I can start my watch, and many times within an hour I have already cleared immigration, customs, retrieved checked bags, met the shuttle, and am lounging in the sun at the pool. Nowhere else is this possible. We have a fantastic property manager, who makes certain the place is immaculate and everything is in good working order. For an extra fee (only $12/day) we get daily cleaning and laundry service (with our kids that is a real plus). I am a runner, so being able to run on a wide flat beach for mile after mile, without another human being in sight is incredible. The golf course is a gem and rarely crowded. Many of the staff at the clubhouse, restaurant and bar are old friends. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast (on the Club House veranda looking out at the ocean). Sunsets with a frozen margarita, while sitting on our private terrace are as good as this life gives.
