The beach house is located on one of the few residential points on the New Hampshire seacoast and offers extraordinary views of Cape Ann and the Isles of Shoals. The charming house features 60 ft of its own ocean frontage and a common lawn runs the length of the point. Beautiful Wallis Sands Beach is just a two-minute walk from the house. Situated at the end of a private road just 30 ft from the Atlantic, the house has large picture windows downstairs and 15 feet of casement windows in the master bedroom with spectacular ocean views. Covered sitting porches surround three sides of the building. Inside, the house has an oak parquet floor in the open-concept dining and living room and a brick fireplace. Wide pine floors are found in the upstairs bedrooms, all of which have a water view. The house sleeps five comfortably, with a double sleep sofa available in the living room. Downstairs, a half bath is located off the kitchen. Upstairs, there is a 3/4 bath with a shower.

The Prescott Park Arts Festival is a feast of outdoor entertainment on the city's waterfront that runs from July through the end of August, and the Seacoast Repertory Theatre presents a full schedule of performing arts programming year round. Beautiful house worth every penny!

If you like being directly on the water, this house is for you! You truly have the best of both worlds - green, grassy lawn and a sandy beach a few steps away. We just returned from a week's stay and we didn't want to leave. The house looks as good in person as it does in the pictures posted on this site. You will not be disappointed. We can't wait to go back next year!!!

We recently spent an absolutely wonderful week in this great beach house in Rye. It is convenient to everything, has an excellent ocean view right outside your windows, a wonderful front yard overlooking the ocean, has a beautiful beach just moments away, is very comfortable and clean, and has all the accomodations you would need for an excellent vacation. Our young grandson had a great second vacation with us. The owner's customer service was excellent and friendly. The hardest part of the week was leaving on Saturday! Hope to return in 2010.

Awesome cottage on the water!

THis is a charming, comfortable cottage on the water in Rye. Beautiful, sandy, beach is just a few steps away. Nice front lawn for sunning, playing, sitting and watching the boats go by! Covered patio is ideal for eating, or sitting out of the sun. Petey's restraunt is just steps away for a delightful seafood dinner, cocktail hour or ice cream treats. Loved this cottage....didn't want to leave.
