Large three story home nestled on Lake McQueeney. Over 3000 S.F.of decking and patio area. Each living area and bedroom has french doors opening out to a large deck. Boat house with dining on top. Entire third floor (except bathroom) covered with custom milled hardwood from Fredricksburg, Texas. Enjoy a drink at the wet bar. Enjoy the large gourmet kitchen with double capacity oven. Waterfront is on area of Lake with 'No Wake' designation. This makes swimming and canoeing much safer. One of the most popular rentals on Lake McQueeney.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Cleaning Fee not applicable on 4-night or longer stays. Weekly visits include 6 nights.
  • $300 security deposit required on all rentals. Refunded within 2 weeks after checkout based upon inspection of property. Individuals over the number of 12 are billed an extra $10/night/person.
  • We require half of full rental rate plus security deposit at time of reservation. Remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival date. Cancellations are required more than 30 days prior to your arrival date for full refund; within 30 days of your arrival date you will be allowed to reschedule.

Great Family Get Away Home

My extended family and I rented this home in May of 2008. We had 8 adults and children ranging from ages 1-3. It was a perfect vacation home and we had such a wonderful time. The kitchen was perfect for large family meals and we enjoyed being right on the water. The open floor plan gave everyone their own space and we had plenty of room for kid's toys. We loved spending the evenings outside on the deck playing games. We'll definitely be returning!

awesome getaway

I stayed here with five adults for wurstfest 2007. The house is about 10 mins from Gruene and New Braunfels on a quiet inlet off of a large lake. We stopped a grocery on the way and stocked up the house. The huge open floor plan and modern kitchen really worked well for a group vacation. There are also huge balconies overlooking the lake. We used the canoe and rowed out into the lake. All in all, we ended up spending most of our trip in this awesome place and avoided all the craziness at wurstfest as much as possible. This was a perfect destination for getting out of the city and having a quiet retreat on the lake.

my husband and I and 4 other couples rented this house out the week of July 16 and we loved it. the kitchen was our favorite part because we all love to cook and the location of the house was great. the house is spacious and we had tons of fun, this is a great house to rent for relaxation.

Great Time

A large group of us stayed at the tree house last year. The house is beautiful and the surrounding neighborhood is peaceful. We had several people from out of twon and they were very impressed with the layout of the house. It's not too close to the Guadalupe river but close enough for a short drive. Most importantly the property owner Mindy is a sweetheart. Our refrigerator was malfunctioning and she cut her vacation short in order to provide us with chests of ice in order to maintain our food and drinks cold until the refrigerator came back online. Her attention was above and beyond what we expected. Wonderful time. We plan to go again this year.
