Access to the Big Wood River, famous for fly fishing, is a short walk down the road.

Native, indigenous woods take hold of the living areas - Chinked three sided log walls, lodgepole window sills & trim, fir fireplace mantle, alder & fir doors and tabletops. Aged and recently refinished original fir wood floors provide a warm, cuddly glow to the interior. The floor to ceiling rock fireplace of regional stone is the focal point of a great room that affords comfort, livability and a down sofa. You won't find a dishwasher or disposal in this rustic kitchen. A porcelain and chrome range, china place settings, cloth napkins, plenty of utensils and cookware make this kitchen perfect, basic living.

property exterior: The property is well landscaped & cared for with front walk & patio pavers, surrounded by wonderful gardens stuffed with annuals, perennials and deciduous shrubs. Wildflowers and native grasses make the transition from manicured sod lawn to a perimeter of aspens, willows, maples and fir trees, completely fenced for privacy. The backyard is shady, private and quiet with a charming native field stone patio laced with herbs. There you will find wrought iron furniture, new Weber gas grille and fire pit - a great place to hang out in the summertime, sip wine, BBQ, roast marshmallows and entertain guests.
