Great Coastal Retreat

This is a great vacation home. Much bigger than it looks in the picture. In a quiet neighborhood right across the street from the ocean. Also a perfect location in the center of the Oregon coast with Newport to the north and Florence to the south, so plenty to do. We stayed three days here (which wasn't enough) and traveled 101 south on to California. Next time will stay here longer and use as our base to explore. The house was very nice, clean and you can tell the owners have worked to keep it that way. Good communication with the owner with emails before we went and a phone call shortly after we checked in to make sure everything was good.

wonderful location

A very comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay. We had a family reunion here. The grandkids loved this place. They got to explore the tide pools and play in the sand. Great view from the house. We watched the wales spouting out at sea. We will be back.

Great Location

We stayed here for two weeks in June 2009 and really enjoyed our stay. Yachats is a great little town. The home is on a quiet street and has very good access to the beach. There are some terrific areas nearby to explore tide pools or look for agates. The house is not right on the water but still has a partial view of the ocean. The house is very well stocked with everything you will need while on vacation. The wireless internet worked well. Our kids loved staying in Yachats and I would certainly recommend this house as a very good choice of places to stay.

Coastal Vacation

This is such an awesome location exactly half way between Florence and Newport with a great tidepool beach and right next the the Oregon Coast Trail. The house is exceptional - well decorated, comfortable, well stocked in every way. Plenty of room and a great view. We will definitely return soon.
