This apartment is available 30 days or more and it is not a vacation rental. The apartment is available monthly, and long term for those who are relocating, or need long term housing, remodeling their residence, repairing their residence or for any purpose other than vacation purposes.

Please note the city of Santa Monica prohibits the use of this apartment for short term vacation purposes or if you already have full time housing somewhere else.

If you intend to vacation in the City of Santa Monica, you are encouraged to stay at a Hotel or make other arrangements.

The City of Santa Monica will send a code compliance inspector to inspect the apartment to inquire and verify as to the purpose of your stay.

Minutes from Third Street Promenade, clothing shops, Rodeo Beverly Hills, Cafés, Westwood, UCLA, Santa Monica college, famous restaurants, Venice beach, Pacific Palisades, Malibu beach and Hollywood for great entertainment.

Please note if your purpose of stay is for vacation the city prohibits rental of apartments for vacation purposes.

I would love to comment on this place, which my parents had reserved for this week starting today, but on Friday the rental company called and CANCELLED, three days before they arrived. So, now my parents are sleeping on my floor. Yes, they gave our FULL COST DEPOSIT back, but that was FAR FROM SUFFICIENT to cover our trouble. They initially offered an additional $200, which we felt was insufficient for 3 days notice, but finally, they added insult to injury by instead offering us $100 at Boa Steakhouse, which if you've ever been would barely cover one meal. We DID NOT accept either offer. It's sad that we have to resort to litigation to get fair compensation for breach of contract. This has put a dark cloud over my parents' vacation.

Owner's Response: The current vacationer decided to extend their stay by 30 days and we called the proposed vacationer, apologized and advised them. We refunded their stay 100% the next day and offered them $200 but they wanted $400. We then offered them alternate housing at a lower rate and closer to the beach and they refused. We then offered them a dinner for 2 at Boa but they wanted dinner for 4. We sincerely apologized to them but since the proposed vacationer contends he is a lawyer he threatened to litigate.

I would recommend this apt. to anyone staying in Santa Monica. What a great location and easily accessible to a grocery store right down the street, outdoor shops a few blocks down and the beach and pier within distance. The apt. was laid out well with all the amenities one needs. Much better than staying at a hotel! Parking was sometimes difficult to find along the street at night. We would stay there again.
