We are a luxury vacation rental located right in the heart of San Diego's Mission Beach - the center of a continuous stretch of beach known as The Strand, which extends over two miles, beginning at the Mission Bay channel entrance and ending at the north end of Pacific Beach. The Strand is the most popular beach area in the City of San Diego and draws large crowds in summer.

Bayside Bungalow is located on Bayside Lane at the corner of Redondo Ct. This adorable 6 unit building is just 30 steps from beautiful Mission Bay and a couple of short blocks to the Pacific Ocean. Bayside Bungalow has rich hardwood floor interiors, granite counter tops, a travertine shower and brand new furnishings and appliances.
Enjoy our newly renovated condo complete with sleeping accommodations for four. The master bedroom features a brand new, posturepedic queen sized bed with luxurious linens and designer comforter. Enjoy DVDs from your bedroom TV. Bayside Bungalow allows spacious comfort for four guests - the living room sofa folds into a bed!
The tranquil Master Bedroom has been tastefully decorated to reflect the serenity of Mission Bay. The bathroom features a travertine shower/tub and sparkling fixtures. Everything you need is waiting for you complete with soap, shampoo, towels, hair dryer - even spa robes and slippers! Our luxury rainfall shower head is perfect for tall guests and the removable attachment is excellent for washing the sand off your toes.
Your spacious living/dining room features a top-of-the-line sleeper sofa for two, flat screen TV and dining for four. The modern kitchen is a cook's dream. Brand new refrigerator, oven, microwave and range. Granite counter tops and glass cabinets. The kitchen comes complete with pots, pans, utensils, silverware, plates, glasses and mugs. Make a romantic dinner and enjoy it bayside with the sparkling lights of San Diego reflecting in the water all around you.
We have provided you with coffee, tea, creamer, salt and sugar. This is the view you have from the bay. Enjoy an early morning jog along the bay or pick up breakfast from the local cafe and have a nice little picnic on the sand.
Bayside Bungalow is only one of a handful of Mission Beach rentals that allows pets. We even provide dog beds!

Hi there, I'm Brina Jannenga.
I have lived in San Diego most of my life and lived in the Mission Beach/Pacific Beach are for many years.
There's nothing better then waking up at the bay, making a strong cup of coffee and heading to the bay to watch the birds gather, listen to the footsteps of early morning joggers on the boardwalk, and smell the new day.
One of the best parts of Bayside Bungalow is our location. We are within very close walking distance to one of San Diego's oldest and best steak houses, Saska's. Next door, is a world class, fresh sushi bar. Two great 'bar & grills' are close as well - The Liar's Club and Guava Beach. Both are a fun way to spend the afternoon. There are also convenience stores, fast food joints and some cute little stores - swim suit shops, sandals and surfwear.
Transportation is easy - rent a bike or walk. If you want to go to Sea World, La Jolla or the zoo, just take the 8/9 bus line that stops right up the street within very close walking distance. There are many, inexpensive bike rental shops nearby.
Mission Beach is a man-made peninsula with Mission Bay on one side of Mission Blvd and the Pacific Ocean on the other. On the North end is Pacific Beach, on the South end is the Ocean Beach jetty. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk from the jetty in Ocean Beach to the historic Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach. It's a fun walk down the boardwalk!
Built in the 1920's, Belmont Park is a great way to spend a nostalgic day with your family. There is a rich history behind Mission Beach that I invite you to explore.
