Welcome to Bayside Bungalow in Mission Beach, San Diego! Thank you for visiting Bayside Bungalow! We are a luxury vacation rental located right in the heart of San Diego's Mission Beach - the center of a continuous stretch of beach known as The Strand, which extends over two miles, beginning at the Mission Bay channel entrance and ending at the north end of Pacific Beach. The Strand is the most popular beach area in the City of San Diego and draws large crowds in summer. Bayside Bungalow is located on Bayside Lane at the corner of Redondo Ct. This adorable building is just 30 steps from beautiful Mission Bay and a couple of short blocks to the Pacific Ocean. Bayside Bungalow has rich hardwood floor interiors, granite counter tops, a travertine shower and brand new furnishings and appliances. Enjoy our newly renovated condo complete with sleeping accommodations for four guests. Yes, it's like this year-round!

A Word From The Owner:: Hi there, I'm Brina Bujkovsky. I have lived in San Diego most of my life and lived in the Mission Beach/Pacific Beach are for many years. There's nothing better then waking up at the bay, making a strong cup of coffee and heading to the bay to watch the birds gather, listen to the footsteps of early morning joggers on the boardwalk, and smell the new day. One of the best parts of Bayside Bungalow is our location. We are within very close walking distance to one of San Diego's oldest and best steak houses, Saska's. Next door, is a world class, fresh sushi bar. Two great 'bar & grills' are close as well - The Liar's Club and Guava Beach. Both are a fun way to spend the afternoon. There are also convenience stores, fast food joints and some cute little stores - swim suit shops, sandals and surf wear.

How to get around?: Transportation is easy - rent a bike or walk. If you want to go to Sea World, La Jolla or the zoo, just take the 8/9 bus line that stops right up the street within very close walking distance. There are many, inexpensive bike rental shops nearby. Mission Beach is a man-made peninsula with Mission Bay on one side of Mission Blvd and the Pacific Ocean on the other. On the North end is Pacific Beach, on the South end is the Ocean Beach jetty. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk from the jetty in Ocean Beach to the historic Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach. It's a fun walk down the boardwalk!

Great Location, Everything's Been Thought Of!

I stayed at The Bayside Bungalow in Mission Bay last month with two of my college friends for our yearly reunion. We had a blast! We didn't realize that the bay and the beach were both so close. We were just a few steps from the bay which was really pretty and tranquil, especially in the morning. Mission Beach is just right across the street!

The owner of this unit took care of everything for us. She even left a few beers in the fridge for our arrival. Everything you need is already there - a hair dryer, an iron, even robes and slippers. There is a coffee maker in the kitchen and they even provide the coffee.

After a few days at this condo, I didn't want to go home to cold Chicago! I would definitely recommend this property if you want a fun place to stay for a few days.

It exactly looks like the picture online. The condo is very clean and maintained very well. The owner provided good customer service and we just feel like at home. We would like to go there again!

Wonderful Vacation

My husband, 4 year old, 6 month old and I had a wonderful vacation in San Diego. We have to give the Bayside Bungalow a lot of credit. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We were even provided a crib and a dog bed. The location was even better! We were about a block from Mission Bay, which is home to a beach full of seashells and only a few blocks from the ocean. To top it off there was a wonderful Sushi place, Saskas, practically across the street and a lovely place for breakfast, Olives. We will have lasting memories from staying at this wonderful place.

Great location!!!! Your choice of the bay or the ocean within steps. The condo is very clean an well kept. Lots of little extras in case you forget something. We took Brianna's suggestion and went to Saska's, we would recommend this restaurant to all. We will definitely book again as soon as we get the chance. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!

My wife and I stayed for the three days that we were in San Diego during our honeymoon. The condo was well kept and good location. Good price and service. Would reccomend to anyone:)
