Why Jackie Walker chose Wailea
Wailea is sunny, clean and quiet. It is close to restaurants, great sandy beaches that are perfect for boogie boarding, swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding and just hanging out. Shopping is also within walking distance.
Our ocean view home is remodeled, clean and comfortable. It sits quietly on the 7th fairway of the Wailea Blue Course. We have loaded it with many extras for all to enjoy.

Review # Review Title
We are giving this condo 5 stars. We loved our stay here and we had a diverse group to satisfy: one person over 80, an active couple in our 50s and two young adults who (just coming off finals and wrapping up concerts and performances) were content to be a little more mellow. Our family tends to be on the quiet side of the spectrum and we aren't much for loud, all-night parties, so we found this place perfect. The quiet nights and the comfortable beds (everyone in the group reported comfortable beds and a some of us are notorious for not sleeping well away from home--so kudos on the beds!) made getting enough sleep easy. We had rented a car, so we didn't try to walk to the beach, but I think it's doable... not sure if there are sidewalks the entire way. But there was always parking available at Ulua Beach and we found there was so much to explore on the rest of the island that we were glad to have a car. The condo was very clean--exceptionally so--and we had no problems with anything not working or missing.
The Walkers have made sure that the bathrooms are stocked with body wash and shampoo and conditioner, and the kitchen had a nice selection of spices and seasonings. Pots and pans and utensils were easy to find. (I could have used a sharpening stone for the knives, though. They were nice, but a little dull.) The lock on the door opens with a code rather than a key, and we found this very convenient not to have to carry, or fumble with, a key. There are plenty of videos, including family-friendly ones, although I think we spent more time online (the internet was easy to access and reasonably fast) than watching television. I hadn't anticipated how useful having wi-fi would be.
Although we planned our activities months in advance, we added a few things at the last minute that we were able to get information for on the internet. There are flyers and brochures of things to do everywhere on Maui, and if one of those captures your imagination, it's nice to be able to do a little research about it on the internet. Overall, the condo had a very homey feel, and we tried to leave it as clean as we found it—we really appreciated that it is not just a “unit” but someone’s home. Thank you very much for letting us be your guests!
