Beautifully furnished apartment in a quiet urbanisation, two kilometres west of Fuengirola and only a five minute walk from the beach.. Two bedrooms, both air conditioned with large fitted wardrobes, two bathrooms, lounge with dining area and separate fully fitted kitchen. Large terrace, with full sunshine from 1.00pm until sunset in summer, furnished with sun beds, patio furniture and a brick barbecue. There is a secure parking space in underground garage with access to the apartment by lift. There is also a gently shelving ramp access to the apartment. There is a swimming pool available to the apartment block, which is normally very quiet. It is a very peaceful location yet is close to shops, bars and restaurants, and perfectly placed for visiting all the resorts on the Costa del Sol.

Apartment is situated on El Faro urbanisation, two kilometers west of Fuengirola. The apartment is a five minute walk to the beach, with shops, bars and restaurants also within five minutes walk. Fuengirola offers a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants, children activities and beautiful beaches, Access to the main coastal highway means that the following are all within a 25 minute drive. La Cala, with beaches and shops is only 5 minute drive, Cabopino with marina, restaurants and beaches slightly further. The style and charm of Marbella and Puerto Banus are musts for a visit, as is the picturesque whitewashed village of Mijas. There are about 40 quality golf courses within an hours drive, at least 10 of which are within 15 minutes, we can give you further information regarding the golf courses if needed. There is a conservation area with lots of walks just two minutes from the apartment. We will provide full transport information for the area.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Changeover days are negotiable but we would prefer Saturday/Sunday from 1st July to 31th August. Discounts are available for lets of four weeks or more. A welcome pack is included in the price. A deposit of £100 is required to secure a booking, which also acts as cover for damages/loss keys. Full amount of rental fee is due four weeks before departure with £100 deposit being returned to you within 7 days of your return, providing there has been no damage to the apartment. We will take long term lets during the winter months at a reduced rate as above.

Both bedrooms have air conditioning, which can also act as heaters in the cooler months. Notes: Access to the apartment from the garage by lift, and with a gently sloping ramp to the door from the road, makes it ideal for wheelchair users or prams. The terrace is very large and has a table and six chairs, with parasol, as well as four sunbeds, and there is still plenty of space. There is a portable air conditioning unit which can be used in the lounge. There is a selection of books, videos and DVDs available for usage, and the TV has access to English channels but not Sky. We have also left a brochure on our 'favourite' restaurants for clients to peruse. Whilst it is strictly non smoking in the apartment please, our guests are free to smoke on the terrace. A free welcome pack is provided for all bookings. For lets of 12 days or more, a cleaner will call in the middle of the stay. There are two portable radiators for the winter months. There is an information pack in the apartment, with details in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Dutch.

The apartment is cleaned prior to each visit, and for lets of 12 days, it is also cleaned halfway through, with bed linen being changed. The apartment is managed by a property management company based locally who will be there to help in the event of problems. A welcome pack is available on arrival at no cost. All towels for usage in the apartment are provided, but we would ask that you supply your own beach towels. There is a supply of cds, dvds and books for your usage. The parking space is in a secure underground garage. We will provide you with full transport information for the area, we can arrange car hire for you, we will give full details for the apartment, and details of places to visit in the area. Please note, the walk back to the apartment from the beach, bus stop and local shops does involve about 200 metres of a fairly steep path.

We would recommend the hiring of a car to let you explore the whole area, we can obtain quotes and make bookings for you with the local firm that we use, who provide discounted rates for our customers.. We will provide you with full details and a map of how to reach our apartment from Malaga airport. A taxi from Malaga airport to the apartment costs about 45 euros. However, as an alternative, you can take the train from the station right outside the airport to Fuengirola, cost is about 1 euro 50 per person, and then take a taxi from Fuengirola station to the apartment, cost about 12 euros. There is a bus service, about three minutes walk from the apartment, which takes you into the centre of Fuengirola. We will also provide some recommendations of places you may wish to visit.

There is a really nice restaurant, which we regularly use, just 3 minutes walk from the apartment. There is also a complex containing a supermarket, pharmacy, bars and restaurants just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. In the hills adjacent to the apartment, there are lots of paths for walking. You can see the Costa del Sol racecourse from our terrace. As summer meetings are held at 10.00pm on Saturdays it may be better to go by car. There is a bus just thee minutes walk from the apartment which takes you into the centre of Fuengirola. Finally in addition to the places mentioned earlier within an hours drive, you could spend a day visiting Seville, Cordoba, Granada or Gibraltar, Seville is definitely our favourite, and we can make recommendations as to how you get there.

Great apartment and good value.

The apartment was very clean and tidy and in a great location although it was further from Fuengirola than I had anticipated. The walk down the path to the beach isn't as difficult as some people thought but it could be hard if you have small children. It was very hot while I was there and I wouldn't recommend trying it during the hottest part of the day. There are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance that are good. The taxi service into Fuengirola was good value for money and the buses are very cheap but unreliable. Expect to wait a lot longer for the bus than you think! The air conditioning was uper and much appreciated and the terrace is fabulous. The kitchen was a bit smaller than I expected but we managed as long as there was only one of us in there. I would be very happy to go back again as I liked the area and the apartment and for the cost I believe it's great value for money.

Thank you so much Bill & Carol! We had a brilliant time, just what we wanted and needed!!

Firsty thank you so much for being SOOOO helpful leading up to the holiday, I dont think Ive ever been so prepared for any holiday! Apartment, cars, buses, taxi's, trains, restaurants - you literally told us about everything!! (P.s its 45 euros from airport to apartment 4 people)

When we finally arrived the apartment was great! The welcome pack was amazing! I thought maybe some tea and coffee but we had a little feast! :-)

We didnt hire a car, there is a walk up a steep path but if your planning on eating and drinking lots while away the walk is great for keeping the weight off!! ;-)

There is a bus every every 2 mins away to feungirola, and 10 mins away there is a bus stop to marbella and fuengirola every 30mins, and the last bus is 10.30pm. If your staying out later in fuengirola a taxi is about 13 euros to the apartment door! Not bad!

We spent most time by the pool till about 4ish then the balcony is perfect for catching last few hours of sun, either sunbathing or reading a book with a glass of sangria or ice cold San Miguel.
We're not really beach people but the nicest beaches are only 5mins away by bus or car. There is also a little supermarket 2 mins from apartment but I would recommend getting bus to fuengirola and going to supersol right by bus stop.

There are some lovely restaurants (chinese, indian, english chippy) near to the apartment, but fuengirola also has lovely restaurants, we recommend Roma - gorgeous italian, and next door to that a gorgeous argentinian restaurant, both a must!!
Also if you like a boogie go to fuengirola!

We also went to Aquatica Mijas Waterpark for the day (17 euros), which is great fun and I would recommend for all ages.

Sorry ive gone on so much! Trying to think what I would want to hear! Haha!

All in all perfect holiday, totally chilled, lovely apartment, great pool, gorgeous area, great weather!!

We will defo be back!!! I have already recommended this apartment to everyone so Im sure you'll have a few more bookings soon!

Lovely and relaxing

Everything went like clockwork.
The car that the owners had arranged for us was waiting at the airport, we found our way with no problems thanks again to the owners detailed description of how to get there and we arrived to find the appartment exactly as described and pictured in their advertisment.
A welcome packet was waiting for us, which was lovely and really did make us feel welcome.
I travelled with my 2 teenage children (15&17),who really enjoyed the home from home(especially English TV as we live in Germany).
We visited all the local beaches, which are beautiful and within 5 mins driving distance. A small beach is within walking distance but we prefered the long,white sandy ones in Fuengirolla or Mijas Costa.
Once again thanks to the owners for the information on wining and dining. We tried the Ventas mentioned and the food was beautiful and amazingly priced.
We visited Gibralter and Ronda both approximately 75mins away, both well worth a visit, and lots of other local attractions.
We definately needed a car for the things we wanted to do but only because we didn`t want to waste our precious holiday time waiting for buses etc. But the rental price was so low that it probably worked out cheaper for us.
We can fully recommend this property, it´s description, location
and facilities are exactly as described, it´s beautifully maintained and very clean. (Mid-Stay cleaning was included in our 14 day stay)
Air conditioning (very quiet) in the bedrooms made the very hot weather bearable and Bill the owner was so helpful giving lots of useful information.
As my children would say "we chilled" and it was great.
I´m sure you`ll be seeing us again.

Great Appartment

Thankfully the directions to the property were very good as we arrived late in the day and were pretty tired. The first good thing was the welcome package with the main essentials to avoid starvation or having to go straight out and find somewhere to eat. The whole place was very clean and well presented and a pleasure to be in. The balcony is huge and where we spent most time, there are loungers, table and chairs and a barbecue. There are good restaurants in the area and Fuengirola is only a few minutes away. I would reccomend this appartment to my friends or family.

I booked this apartment through Holiday Rentals and Bill the owner contacted me right away. Bill was very honest and knowledgeble about the apartment and surrounding area.
He provided valuable details about getting to and from the aiport, local transportation, local amenities and dining experiences.
The apartment it's self was FIRST class, it was clean, large and very well laid out, the terrace is amazing. The sun was still hot on the terrace until around 9 o'clock in the evening as well as FANTASTIC views of the mountains. The apartment is well stocked with appliances and you can even get to watch Corrie in the evening (LOL). Bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size and very modern. Loads of clean towels etc were available.
We didn't hire a car and to be honest the public transport and local amenities are so good you really don't have to. The apartment block also hosts a pool, the pool was quiet every day and the most number of people we had to share with was four. The only downside to the pool is the lack of sunbeds - there are a few chained to the wall - we used the two beds which were marked for other apartments but as there was no one else there we just took advantage.

The local resturant is lovely and they also do very nice take away - which we took advantage of a few nights and just sat on the terrace.

Normally we ventured to La Cala to go to the beach there as it's a lovely spot and has some nice resturants as well as some nice shops to browse in.
Beware though - The five minute walk to the beach is a 10 or 15 minute walk back up a STEEP hill. Not good after a few drinks.................... This means for older or disabled peopled a car is a must.

All in all this was a fantastic really chill out 12 days and I wouldn't hesitate to recomend this apartment if you are looking for a relaxing get away from it all time.
