Montana's western charm describes this wonderfully furnished home located on Lake Blaine. Lake Blaine is centrally located in the beautiful Flathead Valley. It is located near Glacier National Park (25 min.), Whitefish (25 min.), Kalispell (15 min.) Bigfork (20 min.) Glacier International Airport (25 min.). This Lake Blaine Home is extremely comfortable and meticulously maintained. It is located on 2 acres surrounded by beautiful mature trees, flower gardens, a groomed lawn and 200 ft. of beachfront. The Master Bdrm. has a queen sized log bed and a master Bath. The 2nd bdrm. is furnished with twin beds and a full bath. All linens and towels are supplied. The home also has a full kitchen: built-in oven, refrigerator, microwave, plenty of cookware and dining ware and an outdoor gas grill. The laundry facility is located near the bedrooms. You'll also enjoy cable TV with VCR. Local phone available with long distance available through a guest calling card.

Short Term Lease Agreement: One half of the Contract amount is due at contract signing to secure occupancy. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to occupancy. In the event of cancellation, the full lease amount will be refunded up to 45 days prior to occupancy. No refunds will be given after this time. However if owner finds replacement tenants, tenant shall promptly receive a prorated refund based on the days not leased to a new tenant. A serious effort will be made to lease canceled reservations. There is often a waiting list.

10 a.m/ 4p.m.: Prompt check-out is necessary to allocate adequate time for cleaning services. Arrangements, by phone or e-mail , must be made for check-in at least one week prior to reservation for directions and key information.

Beautiful, warm and comfortable

We stayed at the cabin in July and were thrilled with our decision to rent from Jayne and Mark. The cabin is in a stunning location that acts a gateway to the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park, so it makes sense to stay at Lake Blaine. I also loved the experience of living in a home that faces mountains and sits on a lake. They have an amazing porch and dock to take it all in, and the lake is a quiet lake. But more importantly, their home was impeccably clean, incredibly functional and just the right amount of a "broken in" feel. Jayne was so hospitable I felt like I was renting from a friend.
I can't stress the cleanliness and functionality of the cabin enough. I've had bad experiences in which a home might be new and has a beautiful setting but doesn't have very good water pressure or lacks a lot of the random things that make it comfortable to live and cook somewhere for a week, but Jayne and Mark's cabin had it all. It really is a home away from home and then some.
I have already recommended this property to friends. Thanks for a great stay, Jayne and Mark!

Beautiful spot

We stayed here in July 2008 for a week and had such a wonderful time. The house is on a beautiful little lake with towering mountains across the water. The shore is a rock or pebble beach area with a fire pit and pile of firewood that we roasted marshmallows in almost every night. Perfect vacation home for a family. Our 3 yr old son loved it! The location was easy to get to. While there we enjoyed outings to Big Fork and Flathead Lake, the gondola ride on Whitefish mountain, Amtrak station and train ride from Whitefish to West Glacier, and Glacier National Park. The house was comfortably decorated and the kitchen was well equipped for eating in. I would recommend staying here, and if we end up back in that area of Montana we would consider returning.

Great Place

This property is really a great place to get away for a vacation. The home was more than I expected it to be. It was clean and well maintained and in a pretty area.
The owner sent out a information packet on the surrounding are that was really helpful in planning my vacation.
There are really no words to correctly decribe the area, Glacier Nat. Park is the best park that I've visited to this date. I would reccommend this home to anyone I know. Every part of my vacation was perfect.

Amazing

My Husband and I spent our honeymoon here this past October! It was more than I could've expected. As you drive to the cabin you are surrounded by these huge mountains that are captivating. When we arrived we were so pleased to see how beautiful the surrounding lake was along with the great mountain view right outside our door. The cabin was like being at home, very cozy and warm. The owners are wonderful people and I can't say enough about what a great time we had here. I would recommened this to anyone who is trying to escape city life and just relax in peace. It was in the center of everything we did and needed to go so that was nice as well. I really liked being able to drive home and see several deer just grazing the land so calmly and secure within just a few feet of you. I really enjoyed our stay and plan to return for another vacation some day. Thanks Jayne and Mark you guys are wonderful!

My husband and I stayed at this charming, beautifully situated cabin for a week in July 2008. It was so much more than we expected, having booked it on-line with no referral. The owners are very accomodating and the cabin itself is a perfect getaway from the busy routines of daily city life. The lake is postcard picturesque, to say the least, and its proximity to Glacier National Park was a big plus. We will be back as often as our schedules allow.
