Photos and Description of the Traverse City vacation cottage rental 2BR with Futon off Living Area/1Full Bath - Sleeps 6 persons w/ pull out couch

Located 7 miles south of Traverse City on Arbutus Lake. Family and pet friendly environment. Modernly rustic cottage is clean and comfortably furnished. The cottage is unique. Kitchen has a gas range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and utensils. Cottage has cable television (TV is provided) and sofa sleeper. First bedroom has a full bed and second bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed (upstairs). Downstairs there is a Futon and a pull out couch. Blankets, comforters and pillows are provided. Bed linens, bath towels and kitchen towels will need to be brought. On-site playground and laundry facilities. Large deck overlooks lake and beach area. There is a 12' rowboat included in the cottage rental as well as kayaks that are available for your use. There is space for docking you own boat. Boat motors and a pontoon are available for rent as well.

Located 7 miles south of Traverse City on beautiful Arbutus Lake. We are close to shopping, dining, golfing, skiing, horseback riding, hiking. Most activities are minutes from our property. Located 30 minutes from two casinos. Our property is located close enough to Traverse City to enjoy the Cherry Festival Events, but far enough away to be away from the crowds if you choose. Interlochen Arts Academy offers concerts and entertainment with a 15 minute drive. Sleepy Bear Sand Dunes and the Lake Michigan shoreline are a enjoyable and beautiful 30 minute drive. State land offers hunting and hiking opportunities. Snowmobile trails are just down the road. Enjoy fishing, swimming and water sport activities on site. Arbutus Lake, a chain of 5 lakes, is clean and sandy bottomed covering 395 acres. You are able to boat between all the lakes. Fishing is good and a variety of species including perch, bluegill, bass, and pike are eager to be caught.
