The condo is absolutely gorgeous--very spacious and all bedrooms were very roomy and private--several items were broken and slightly dusty upon entering. The owner was easily accessible to contact. The property is NOT in walking distance to the beach, with children and "beach items". Tho, very easy to walk to the main portion of the "day and night" life of Rehobeth, which we took advantage of daily. The pool is not too large and there are no sun umbrellas or no baby pool for children. There are no barhrooms at the pool. "Lots of steps-----------------in this condo---multiple staircases.....

Owner's Response: While we appreciate the review, we respectfully disagree with some of the content.
I don't recall any information on broken items in the home from this particular tenant, nor concerns about our cleaning contractor. All broken items and cleanliness issues are addressed immediately. We take great pride in our home. Given the opportunity, we would have rectified any problems.
The home most certainly IS within walking distance to the beach with children and items, we've made the trip to the beach numerous times since purchasing the home in 2005.
The pool is about as large as can be expected for a development the size of Edgewater Park. A balance between ample parking and a large enough pool is a tricky endeavor.
Sun umbrellas were available to be used, stored in the garage of the home. Due to prior thefts, community umbrellas cannot be provided. Inserting a mention of this is the VRBO ad might alleviate confusion over this issue.
A baby pool and restrooms are never mentioned in the description of the home. Each unit is within close proximity to the pool, allowing easy access to each home's bathrooms. Mentioning the absence of a baby pool and restrooms will be included when we re-work the description of the home.
The description of the home(four(4) floors, no elevator) would lend itself to the home having multiple staircases. We will try to re-word our description of the home to better relate the amount of steps in the home to future renters.
