We stayed here last October for the Pumpkin Patch Festival. We had a wonderful time and absolutely LOVED the Kastle :-) The owner is super-friendly & informative about all our questions. The Kastle is nicely decorated (modern greens, reds, yellows & oranges). It is very comfortable. We loved the fact we could bring our dog. She had a great time swimming (yes, in October) becuz we ended up with a heat wave of upper 70-degree days for the festival. It was great to sit on the deck off the back of house and be 10-feet from the water. The Kastle is fully stocked and there are extra blankets and pillows if you need them. If you are tall, i.e., taller than 6'2" tall, please be prepared to duck when you enter into the kitchen as the structural beam poses a slight hazard for those that are tall. My husband got used to it, after hitting it twice :-), but you really do need to be careful. This is definetly NOT a showstopper...it's a great part of the charm of the Kastle. The on-site manager stopped in at our arrival to make sure everything was ok and to answer any of our questions. This is truly a wonderful property and you will not be sorry you stayed. We will definitely be back!!
