House is fully furnished and has 3 bedrooms: - Bedroom 1 has a big double bed with two separate mattresses (200 x 100 cm), mirror, bedside table and wardrobe. - Bedroom 2 has a big single bed (200 x 100 cm) and a couch (can be transformed into an additional bed: 200 x 150 cm). Furthermore a small bedside table, a wardrobe and a desk. - Bedroom 3 has a french-sized double bed (200 x 140 cm) and a bed for small children (140 x 70 cm), a wardrobe and a table. In addition the house has: - a living room (with a couch, which can also be transformed into an additional bed) with satellite TV, DVD & CD-Player and radio as well as an open fireplace. - A dining room. - A kitchen (electric oven, microwave, dishwasher,fridge, freezer). - A bathroom with tub and toilet. - A bathroom with shower and toilet. In the cellar there is a laundry with washing-machine. The house has got an attached private garden. The house is on one level and located in a small side lane of a small road in a secluded area.

The location is quiet and offers attractive possibilities for excursions and activities nearby. Some few examples: - A golf course can be reached with 10 minutes both by car or by bicycle. - There are abundant possibilities for walks along the river Rhine 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bicycle. - Walks in a forest and small lakes are as well only 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bicycle. - Deer park, mini golf and the only open-air pool located in a forest in Cologne (of course open in summer only) is just 10-15 minutes by car. The quiet and attractive location is ideally supplemented by the advantages of a main city and one can forget about traffic and parking problems in the inner city: - A big supermarket, bakery pharmacy, snack bar and some other shops are in walking distance (less than 10 minutes). - A small shopping mall can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. - With suburban rail network (Park & Ride available) there are direct and fast connections.

Surrounding: The house is on one level and located in a small side lane of a small road in a secluded area. There is absolutely no through traffic as the small road as well as the small side lane are both dead-ends. The road has got plenty of parking so there is normally no hassle in getting one.

How to reach?: Plane: From airport Cologne-Bonn easiest by taxi (approx. 25 Euro), cheaper with public transport in 35-45 min. (depending on the connection), but then you will have to change trains once. Car: take highway no. A3, exit Köln-Mülheim or Köln-Dellbrück Public transport: - In 23 min. from the city center (Neumarkt) by tram no. 4 (direction: Schlebusch) and then a little less than 1 km (10 min. on foot). - Alternatively in 15 min. by suburban railway no.6 (direction Essen, Düsseldorf, Langefeld) from the main railway station (we can fetch you from the local station). Detailed information available upon booking.

Other Activities: Deer Park, Mini Golf, small lakes, open-air pool (in the forest!)

Very clean and very wellsisuated property in cologne germany very friendly owners and fair price i enjoyedmy stay and the dog i had withme loved having the walled in back yard to play. Its only a 10min walk to the streetcar and bus that will make it for 1 15 min ride in to downtown and the beautiful cologne cathedral

The description of the property is accurate. It was clean and well maintained during our visit. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
We didn't have a car, so the fact that the house is within walking distance of a shop, supermarket, restaurant and pubs, etc, was important to us. The journey from Cologne airport is less than 30 minutes by taxi. The local train service to the city centre is timely (every 10 minutes) and reliable. However the owners helped us by ordering a taxi on a couple of occasions.
I would certainly recommend this property to a friend and, in fact, have already been asked for details by someone else.
We enjoyed the location of the property, as it provided us with an oasis of calm and tranquilty after the hustle and bustle of the city.

Sehr geräumiges ordentliches Haus, schöne ruhige Gegend, Bahn und Supermarkt in der Nähe. Empfehlenswert!

Sehr sehr nette Vermieter !

Wir hatten zu viert eine sehr schöne Zeit dort über Silvester (4 Übernachtungen).
