Nantucket Island, SiaSconset village, southeast corner. Walk across the street to the beach. 5 minute walk to SiaSconset Village. Large yard for kids, quiet cull-de-sac safe for beginner bike riders. 10 minute drive (8 miles) to Nantucket town, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The house has 2 master bedroom suites - 1 on first floor with wheelchair accessibility. The house is owned and designed by a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who wants Nantucket to be accessible for everyone. The wrap around deck to the house is ramped from the driveway. Previous renters have included a quadriplegic gentleman and his family who attest to the accessibility. Hospital bed and other medical equipment rental are available through the Nantucket hospital and pharmacy. Bring your van/car over on the ferry (Nantucket Steamship Authority) or there is a wheelchair van taxi. Upstairs includes 2nd master w/Queen bed, bunk bed room, and 2nd queen bedroom. All have ocean views!.

Maximum relaxation can be achieved by walking 300 yards to Low Beach where you may not see anybody for hours (except the occasional seal). 'Sconset village is a 10 minute walk along the ocean to markets, restaurants and art galleries and the beach at Codfish Park. The entire village is beautifully landscaped, the beach is always accessible and the air redolent of rose and hyacinth. There is nothing like this to be found anywhere else in world.
