Charming cottage located in historic downtown Rockport. Plan a romantic get away or trip to discover the unique beauty of this New England town. Located on Rockport's Main Street, the cottage sets back from the street to give you a feeling of being in a quiet, peaceful place. At the same time, it is walking distance from beaches, shopping, train station, grocery store, restaurants, galleries, and more. Off street parking for l car is available. On site manager in main house. Extras include day passes to north shores leading athletic club - Manchester Athletic Club, discounts on massage services and several restaurants. Sleeping accomodations include loft bedroom with queen bed, and double fold out sofa located on first level.

There are several beaches in Rockport and Gloucester that are either within walking distance from the property or a 10 minute drive. Other beaches are between 20 - 30 minutes driving time. This area offers great restaurants for seafood, shops for antique buffs, whale-watching and sunset cruises, and many local art and music festivals.

Lofted ceiling in the living room allows for an open and spacious feeling. Turn the CD player on and let the music float upstairs and into every corner of the space. You will love getting away to this special, peaceful place to enjoy the surroundings of beautiful Rockport.

Great In-Town Cottage

Great location! Walk to Rockport Village or the small town beaches. Terrific hostess and host, very accommodating. Great for couple of hours at the beach, walk back to the cottage and have lunch and back to beach, town, or hang out in the shade of the backyard. ...Don't forget to travel via car to the other beaches nearby and towns for beaches and restaurants.

Only real drawback to consider is a sleeping loft where you can not stand up as well as climbing down a ladder to use the bathroom in the night which gets cumbersome and awkward after a spell.
