Clean, Quiet, Convenient, Comfortable Get-Away! Great Views!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the rental is just as shown by photos and the video on the website. It is an excellent, clean and spacious one-bedroom apartment, tastefully furnished and with great facilities in a wonderful location. Kim and Ken are excellent hosts who live next door, yet are very respectful of your privacy. The kitchen has a good supply of china ware and cooking pans, and coffee, tea, and assorted condiments are all included, as are paper goods such as coffee filters, paper towels and TP. The bedroom with its king bed is very comfortable, as is the living room. There are beautiful new oak floors. There are great views from all the windows, and especially the deck that looks northward to the Pisgah Mountains. The antics of the assorted animals, including numerous chickens and turkeys, two horses, and a goat that pretends to be a horse, were delightful to watch. The location is outstanding, a mere 35-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are numerous excellent hikes from 276 before you even arrive at the Parkway. The Ranger Station on 276 is less than ten minutes away and a great source of information on hikes and local conditions. Brevard is also less than ten minutes away, and includes a large Ingles supermarket. We were self-catering, so didn’t get to try the many restaurants that are available. We’d like to keep this place a secret, but that would be unkind to Kim and Ken! We’ll have no hesitation returning the next time we are able to head their way and we thoroughly recommend it.
