Great value convenient to Beech Mtn. slopes!

This cute two bedroom house is in a perfect location for skiing at Beech Mtn. It is very convenient to a good ski rental place and to the slopes. It was clean, well maintained and had all the basic necessities for cooking. The furnishings and decor are attractive and the beds are very comfortable. The owner was extremely nice and spent a great deal of time talking with us by phone and answering all of our questions ahead of time. He was very honest in telling us that there are a number of steps leading from the parking spot by the road down to the house, and that the bathrooms are somewhat small. It had snowed before we arrived, which was great for skiing, but we had to scrape and shovel the snow and ice off of the steps. Overall, we would recommend this property to others, unless they cannot physically negotiate the steps to the house. This house offers a wonderful value for a comfortable, convenient, and economical getaway!
Owner's Response: Thank you, it is important to note that Serenity Now is a hillside chalet, and has several flights of stairs to the streetside entrance. Anyone with an injury or handicap limiting stair climbing ability should note this. The benefit is, once inside the house, there is a great sense of privacy and seclusion, with no other houses in view, yet the ski slopes, pool, and shops of Beech Mountain are minutes away. As a clarification, the main bathroom is a standard size with a full tub and shower, and the secondary bathroom is smaller, with a shower stall only.
