Veranda-style unit includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus loft sleeps 8

Three Bedroom (2 bedrooms plus a sleep-in loft) has one king bed, one queen and an upper loft with a bunk style bed that has a full sized lower bunk and a sofa bed. Comfortably sleeps 8 or 9 people. The large spacious vaulted ceiling in the living room and dining room has sliding glass doors to the wraparound screen in porch as we as outside deck for crab feasts. The two story townhome style unit has separate baths for both bedrooms down and the upper loft area which has the bunk beds also has a play area for kids to play video games. All fun and games for the kids in their own space. A true vacation for adults and kiddoes.

The unit borders the Assawomen canal where you can crab and pretend to be Tom Sawyer. The indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, basketball courts, weight room, aerobic schedule, sauna, hot tub are all easily accessable a few feet from our unit. Oops I almost forgot, the tram to the beach ( a 10 minute ride on a “Disneylike Tram”) is a few steps outside your door.

This unit is perfect for two families to share.

FREE wireless internet.

There are NO additional fees Linens, towels, end of stay cleaning, wi-fi, fully stocked kitchen are all included. There are no fees added on for insurance, booking, administration - no nonsense. The only thing you pay on arrival is a recreation fee to the Sea Colony resort for unlimited use of pools, tennis, beaches, trams, etc. This fee is approx $40/person during high season and $10-15/person off seasonShort walking distance to year round Sea Colony Tennis Center. 36 indoor and outdoor (hard and har-true) tennis courts. Adult and junior tennis clinics weekly.

About Larry

Larry is a retired business entrepreneur. Dolores is a marketing executive. After 17 summers at Sea Colony we did something strange - we just didn't go home to NJ. We stayed here! Our beautiful condo is one of our investment properties at Sea Colony and where our overflow families stay when too many come to visit at the same time.

Larry purchased this condo in 2004
Why Larry chose Bethany Beach

Our family has spent the past 17 summers vacationing at Sea Colony. SC is virtually the only place of its kind on the east coast from Maine to South Carolina. All 4 of us would leave our hustle/bustle norther NJ stress behind and simply 'exhale' when we arrived at Sea Colony. So, buying a home here was a no-brainer. And if you want recommendations for things to do, places to eat or even the best local realtors - just call us.

What makes this condo unique

we purchased our first home on Canal Court. Being able to drop kids off at the fitness center babysitters while we worked out was great. Dropping them off for date-night was really great. And, the first time it rained and the kids were threatening to bounce off the walls - we sent them to the indoor pool - AWESOME!

Even when we were just vacationing for a week at a time, we would meet the same very very friendly people at the tennis courts (3 blocks away), at the beach (tram ride away) and at the pools/gyms.

Spacious and Comfortable and Well Located

We always wanted to go to Sea Colony and we were not disappointed. This unit is well appointed and cared for we felt comfortable all week. The first thing that struck us was the spacious, airy loft set up. There is room to sleep a lot of people without bumping into one another and everyone had privacy and comfort. We had a king size bed in our room and the kids were well entertained in the loft. Once we ventured outside everything was conveniently located for us. We walked to the pool and the gym and took tennis lessons down the main road. And I don't think we had a disappointing meal all week. This is a terrific resort and this condo unit was just perfect for our lifestyle. I would definitely do this again and recommend it to anyone with a family or just someone who wants to get away.

We stayed in this unit for a week, and I must say I was impressed with the amenities provided by both Sea Colony and the owners of this condo.The unit is large enough to fit several people comfortably, and it is obvious that great care is put into the maintenance of the unit. The tram is located right across the street and was perfect for going to the beach, trying out the other pools or just for roaming around Sea Colony. I love to work out in the AM so finding the Fitness Center on the next block made this a perfect stay. At night I could hear a pin drop. It was so relaxing.

So Relaxing

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo! We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing week. The condo is located in the best possible area-walking distance from the beach, pool, tennis center, and fitness center! We were extremely satisfied with the condition of the place, more than enough room for the family and then some, and beautiful decorations throughout! Beautiful weather the whole week-not a drop of rain! Perfect for the beach, and even on the few days that we didn't go in the ocean, it was great knowing that there were multiple pools to choose from.We look forward to coming back next year.

Delightful Start to the Summer Season

What a great start to the summer ! My husband and I just returned home from a beautiful week in your condo and it was absolutely gorgeous, and roomy, too! We had mostly beautiful weather--not too hot but warm enough to relax and sun bathe on the beach. We walked on the boardwalk almost every night and the view was breathtaking! Everything was so calm and peaceful, and we couldn't have asked for a better get away! Your condo is located in the perfect area, walking distance from the beach, tennis center, and fitness center. We look forward to returning next year or maybe even later in the season!

Delightful Home Away from Home

This condo provided everything that makes the Sea Colony visit exquisite. Larry was very helpful and showed us the ropes so we were able to get the most out of our off-season stay. It was really like a “home away from home,” thanks to all of the personal amenities provided. Since we are fitness nuts it was great that we were walking distance to the Fitness Center. Our stay was more than enjoyable and we look forward to coming during the summer. We would definitely stay here again!
