Photos and Description of the Ocean View vacation house rental House + Guest House - 2 Bedrooms + Detached Unit - 2 Baths - (Sleeps 2-8)

Home sits on private 68 undeveloped acres, with an incredible 40 mile long pristine coastline view. The district has the only coastline in all the major Hawaiian Islands without development. It is what Hawaii was and will never be in most parts of the main Island Chain. The government is attempting to purchase it to create the Hawaiian National Seashore, a public preserve. Our home would border this proposed Park. Home has an accessible cindered road which a short 3 mile drive opens up to an 18 mile long coastal drive. This drive contains secret white, black, green sand beaches, tidal pools, swimming lagoons and archaeological sites. Our District is still the last real Hawaii on the Island, that has been untouched by commercialism. It is exactly half way between over developed, touristy Kona and Volcanoes National Park.

Nearest Beach: beach at 3 Miles

Our property borders Manuka State Park, Manuka Bay Road and Road to the Sea. This Road is one of the few Public Access roads to the Ocean in the whole KAU District. This coastline is perfect for the adventurer with caves, secret beaches, old ruins, great snorkel/scuba shore diving, fishing etc.

Additional information about rental rates

  • * Reserve: 50% nonrefundable deposits on your total - Balance paid before arrival.
    * Maid: Optional $10 additional/day (dishes, beds, trash removal). We pay other half of cleaning fee by paying $50 also. We also pay the taxes out of your $125 nightly fee for the home.
    * Caretakers: May be met at their store, 'SolarWorks!' in the Ocean View.
    * On arrival day home is unlocked with keys on counter by caretakers.
  • We do not charge more money during certain times. It is the same great price all year around.
