The house, located on five acres in Dorset Hollow, a short walk from the classic Vermont town, has a generous country kitchen with woodstove, a living room, a family room (with wireless internet, cable television (52 in. TV) with DVD/VCR player) a dining room, and a two-car heated garage. You can bike, run, walk, or cross-country ski from the house. There is a large terrace off the kitchen.

Alpine skiing is nearby, at Bromley (15 min.) or Stratton (25 min.). Stratton also has 27 holes of challenging golf. In the summer the area is busy with music, theater, and art. The town of Manchester, six miles away, offers an indoor skating rink, an art center, lots of shops and restaurants, movies, and golf at the Gleneagles Golf Course.
