Sleeps 2 or a family of 4 on two double futons; one jetted tub bath with shower

Wake up to wonderful light reflected off the ocean just steps from your door. Do some beach-combing after breakfast prepared in the neat, modern kitchen. Then take in the shopping, restaurants and sights in nearby Provincetown which is about one mile away. While you're there, try a whale watch or a tour of the dunes. Visit art galleries or stop in at the museum. Take the trolley in Provincetown and learn some fascinating history about this area of the Cape. Try a round of golf at Highland Light after you visit the lighthouse. At the end of the day, sleep soundly as the waves wash against the beach outside your door.

Truro is known for its many ocean beaches and beautiful sand dunes. Artists have always been attracted to the area for the scenery and wonderful light. There are many things to do here. At the same time, one can experience the peace and serenity that can only be found near the ocean.

The months of September and October are particularly lovely on the Cape. The days are mild and the nights cool. The ocean is still warm enough to swim. The crowds are gone, which gives you more space and time to explore the area.

Notes: We leave the two futon/beds open as they are quite heavy and some people may have trouble opening and closing them. If you request it, we can leave one in the seating position and one open for sleeping. However, we find that you can lounge on the futons comfortably in the open position to watch TV or socialize. Please note that we do not provide linens, i.e.: no sheets or towels. We have a large George Foreman grill that can be plugged in on the deck or used inside. There is a portable CD/tape/radio player in the unit. There is one window unit A/C and two fans floor fans. Tandem parking for 2 cars in the #10 slot in the parking lot directly in front of the cottage. The nearest laundromat is in Provincetown about one and 1/2 miles away, in the lot next to the Stop and Shop Market on Shankpainter Road. It is good size and has new machines. A shuttle bus goes by the cottage frequently to Provincetown. You can avoid the parking fees in Provincetown if you use it.

AMAZING

We felt truly on vacation as we stepped over the threshold into this clean, greatly located cottage. My husband and I just returned from your property and truly felt like we were your special guests and everything that we could possibly want was at our fingertips. From the brochures about the location to the perfect sitting location on the attached deck. We sat on the beach during the day, dined at wonderful restaurants in the evening, watched the sunset and fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean. The weather was prefect and the cottage even better. The only bad thing I can say is that we had to leave. We look forward to booking with you guys next year and can't thank you enough for sharing your Piece of Paradise with us.

Relaxing

This is a little slice of heaven! Quiet, safe, clean, modern and steps from the water. This cottage is perfect for tired parents or a small family. I have been fortunate to enjoy this cottage for two years in a row for alone time. Each time was fantistic with many activities.The best part was taking the shuttle( which leaves every 1/2 hr) to enjoy shopping, dining and shows in P-Town. After an evening of fun I listened to the waves and slept for 14 hrs. I love this place! When I need to escape I think of this little slice of heaven, beautiful beach, sunsets, and many new friends. Thank You for sharing it with me.

Fantastic, Relaxing Experience

Perfect location, we could go to sleep with the sound of the waves outside the back door, look out across the bay at the fabulous views, walk up and down the beach, and catch the bus to P-Town which stopped a few feet down the street. What more could you ask for? We didn't want to leave. The cottage itself was great, much larger than we thought, and modern and immaculate.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
