Vacation Homes in Marco Island Vacation Rental house

My family and I stayed in the villa for a week in July 2009. The outside surroundings and the beautiful house left great expectations for the interior. It was therefore disappointing to find that unfortunately the house has not been well maintained nor equipped up to the standard reflecting the beautiful outside and the expectations of such a rental home. Several of the floor ceramics in the kitchen area was broken, towels were worn out, the lining in the pool was peeling off, a new barbecue is definitely required (as already pointed out in a review from September last year). The outdoor furniture especially at the poach was worm down and not able to accommodate the 8 people as indicated that the house is able to hold.

This is the third vacation home we have rented in Naples/Marco Island all at the same price level. We also this time had a wonderful vacation on the Island. Based on previous experience with the standard of the vacation homes we have rented I can therefore unfortunately not recommend this home. If the owners plan is to continue to rent the house out I propose that the house goes through a renovating process.... It is so little required to make it perfect. As an alternative the rental rates should be adjusted to reflect the actual standard of the house.
